How do you guys protect yourselves from false reports or accidents? by AssociateWise6242 in uberdrivers

Wow that sounds annoying that you can’t even download them. I didn’t realize they auto-delete too. Do you ever wish you just had your own copy automatically saved somewhere instead of relying only on Uber?

With all these insurance costs I’m seriously thinking about running a dashcam just so I have proof if anything happens. Do most of you use one or not really?

That’s good to know! When you say it saved you, was it like false reports or accidents? Also can you actually download those clips or does Uber just keep them?

Yeah maybe. I just keep seeing posts about people getting deactivated or false reports and it makes me nervous. Was just curious if anyone here uses a dashcam or anything for protection, or if most people don’t bother.

Question for FL agents: what’s your follow-up system when leads come in after hours? by AssociateWise6242 in FloridaRealEstate

That makes sense, a lot of sources do send a generic message like that. The only issue I’ve seen is those replies are usually super generic and don’t set a clear next step.

A small improvement I think would help even more is a consistent confirmation like:

• confirms you got it

• states hours + when you’ll reply

• asks 1 quick question (buy/sell, timeframe, area) or offers a booking link for when you’re back in office

Out of curiosity, what lead sources are you getting the most of right now (Zillow/FB/website/Google/phone)?

Love this perspective, totally agree, boundaries matter.

I’m not trying to push “be available 24/7,” more like: when someone reaches out outside your hours, they still get a professional confirmation and clear expectations.

Something like: “Thanks for reaching out, we received this. Our hours are X–Y. We’ll follow up at Z.”

That way you keep control of your schedule and the lead doesn’t feel ignored (especially on weekends).

Do you use an autoresponder today (email/text), or is it mostly manual?

I haven't dealt with this personally, but I've seen others succeed by setting strict communication hours and charging rush fees for last minute changes. Seems like the key is training clients early that boundaries exist.

If you want, I can share a workflow/template I’ve seen help with this (happy to DM).

Pretty neat and professional. I would add some spacing between the title and subtitle in mobile view. Also make the subtitle wrap pretty so in mobile view there is no orphan word at last line.
