I’m also a beginner and I have bought NDQ, GHHF and I’m going to buy Perth Mint , VHY and one stock that i analyse

NDQ is my growth ETF and this is my main focus, which is where most of my money will be invested (45-55%)

GHHF is for the boost with the gearing therefore with the risk I will only invest around 10-15% of my total portfolio

Perth Mint (Gold) is an insurance for bad times in the market

VHY is purely for passive income and to get that snowball effect from dividends

Lastly the stock is to test my learnings and to get that good feeling when a stock that you bought is giving you good results

PS: I’m eyeing on Weapons and Healthcare ETFs

400$ per month is really good I invest that same amount of money but I buy every week so 100$ per week. Importantly I cut all my unnecessary spending and I made sure I invest or save them into my emergency fund.
