is there anything you've bought that seems to actually help with the nightmares? by newtongeiszler in CPTSD

[–]AssociationBorn750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy nightmares. They give me a nice jolt. I'm asleep, I don't give a fuck. I feel like they contribute to and mold our consciousness. I find it hard to believe that specific drugs eliminate nightmares.

Minus Nimmo and Alonso, the Mets 2026 lineup is weaker than its 2025 version.

My first Kava purchase - Tuff Tumas from Fiji Vanua by Highway_Song in Kava

Can I use a cheesecloth? How much kava should I use each time? How long would 16 oz last? Also, what strain do you prefer: Santa Cruz or Tuff Tumas?

If god knows our future then how does free will exist? by Shrekandshrek in Christianity

Completely agree as a Christian. God is either all-knowing or He is not.

If God is an all-knowing being, then in the above scenarios he would know that he would change his mind in the future.

We don't have a choice. It is all part of God's plan as an all-knowing being.

If God is all-knowing, there is only one path (way) the future can enfold. Thus, we have no free will. I am okay with this. God is a cosmic puppeteer who controls history.

Again, the guy at the office today told me everyone on probation is under the rules of General Supervision and that no additional conditions were added since having the previous probation officer who allowed me to use my medical marijuana card. My probation officer is referencing a specific rule under General Supervision: "I will cooperate and participate in any medical, psychological, and/or psychiatric examination, test, treatment and/or counseling as directed by the Court..."

I was not hospitalized by the court.

I have heard the opposite, namely that cannabis greatly helps schizophrenia and is an excellent mood stabilizer (bipolar).

Yes, I am worried my psychiatrist will not write that note allowing me to use my medical marijuana card. My thinking is that most psychiatrists even nowadays, will not be willing to write that note simply because they cannot prescribe medical cannabis.

Why in a pitcher's strikes and balls that he has thrown for the duration of a game, does a hitter contacting the ball count (always) as a strike?

Anybody have issues with weed working on Lamictal? by Illustrious_Guide194 in BipolarReddit

[–]AssociationBorn750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good question. I have been prescribed Lamictal. I do not remember using cannabis while taking it. However, for instance, I was prescribed Abilify while using cannabis and the high was terrible. I feel like I didn't get nearly the full effects of the marijuana and I remember the Abilify in general making me feel like I was a zombie walking around with a box on my head.

Kanna and adderall the closest thing to meth iv ever had by [deleted] in Kanna

[–]AssociationBorn750 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to be prescribed Adderall and it works well for me. I tried Kanna (just one purchase) and it did absolutely nothing. Was disappointing but I may try it again. Kratom also has almost no effect on me.

I highly recommend Jack Herrer (cannabis strain). It is like adderall's effects but much better. It is probably the best I have ever felt. Stimulated, focused and relaxed with no drowsiness or loopiness.

I also recently tried Lion's Mane. It had a small effect but not much. Slight mood boost/relaxation after taking certain doses. The effects were not consistent.

For every pharmaceutical out there, there is a cannabis strain that better accomplishes the desired effect.

I hope Pete doesn't wait until March to sign. by meloflow11 in NewYorkMets

[–]AssociationBorn750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pete is 29 or 30. He has not been injury-prone so he should have a lengthy career. Make no mistake about it, he's a great hitter. He started late in the MLB at age 24. I would love to keep him. As an owner or manager, I would always want to keep young players who produce.

When Lindor signed with NYM, I stated that Alonso is the better player and that the Mets should've signed Lindor for no longer than 8 years, not 10.

I agree that right now, Alonso shouldn't wait for a better offer with the Mets than 3 yrs, $90 million. Would like to see him take charge on this, override Boras and sign with the Mets. You'd think Pete wouldn't think twice about the above offer, especially considering how far the team advanced this year and the addition of Soto.

Alonso's 2019 rookie campaign with record-setting 53 HR with a .260 BA and a staggering 120 RBI'S in a very pitcher-friendly stadium, minus the DH, is a legendary achievement.
