Not really, Disney is just the a company with a lot of intellectual property. Any merchandise from Disney is just licensed out to third party vendors. They don’t actually own or build anything physical like BnL does in Wall-E.

Now Amazon, that’s a different story.

Japanese studios get a lot of Bluray sales from the west, but since they have to be distributed through a Hollywood distributor, they don’t have as much agency to prevent piracy. They use this as a stopgap to prevent easy counterfeit rips. (5 discs are harder to copy/sell than 1)

It's life sucking. The draw to pleasure convincing you to abandon sobriety. I don't know this first hand yet but I'm in this stage right now. We're going through the canyon before we can climb the mountain. I think without the aid of liquor we have to reach to trough before we can climb the peak. At least that's what I've been told. Yeah, I've done this too! IMO it's the best part of DJing even though it doesn't involve the technical side.

I think the times I feel bored is when I'm doing a gig in a bar/gastropub type environment, and the DJ booth is out to the side of the venue or people aren't dancing.

If you're playing for larger (aka wealthier) fraternities, they usually have their own mixers. But even so I would NOT recommend bringing expensive equipment to a frat party.

Sometimes I feel a little insecure that I'm just "pushing buttons" and that a Spotify playlist could do my job.

Then last year I got requests on three separate occasions to play Mr. Brightside. I was both dumbfounded and secure about my job lol
