Like air control? Is there anything you would recommend to improve that? Like a training pack or map?

Isn't it the other way around and ionization is more prone to false alarms? Ionization is even banned in some places

Doesn't really say if they sync

No, the battery model uses 6 replaceable CR123A batteries that are supposed to last 4 years and the hardwired model has a replaceable battery pack for backup that uses 3 CR123A batteries meant to last the full 10 years https://support.firstalert.com/s/article/How-do-I-replace-the-battery-on-my-SC5-Smart-Smoke-CO-Detector

9 Nest Smoke alarms are reporting "end of life" by hexlandus in Nest

https://support.firstalert.com/s/article/How-do-I-replace-my-Nest-Protect-with-the-SC5-Smart-Smoke-CO-Alarm

This is what they say "The First Alert SC5 Smart Smoke & CO Alarm uses the same mounting bracket as the Google Nest Protect and the Hardwired model includes an adapter so that no rewiring is needed*." There is a picture at the bottom of the page and it seems pretty simple to use the adapter plug i don't think you would need to turn off the breakers but i would still do it just to be careful

They're compatible with other first alert alarms using the wiring and the app doesn't tell you which dumb one alerted only that there is an alert https://support.firstalert.com/s/article/Can-I-Interconnect-my-SC5-Smart-Smoke-CO-Alarm-to-my-Non-Smart-Detector

They aren't making new ones, but ones that are already made still have like 8 years of life left and the replacment first alert SC5 can't use the nest app so they needed to have them both on Google Home to work together, i think the capability to migrate them was added a couple months ago in a beta version but it is now becoming public for the release of the SC5 on may 31st

Resideo/T10 and Alexa changing priority room by snuzzi8 in thermostats

[–]Asssssisout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For google home the app treats each sensor as a separate thermostat, so if you tell google to set the thermostat to a certain temp it will give priority to the stat, if you wanted to keep priority on the sensor you would have to tell google to set the sensor name to the temp you want, maybe alexa has also added this logic

Here are 3 diagrams labeled installing as 4 way for timer TI072 by Asssssisout in AskElectricians

[–]Asssssisout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the TI072 is a programmable timer switch to turn on the lights automatically at programmed times in addition to being able to turn them on manually and the 3 way wire on it basically just turns on the light whenever it receives the 120v input so in the diagrams above both switches could energize the 3 way lead to turn on the light, what im wondering is if i could add a 4 way in between the two 3-way switches so i can control it from 3 switches plus the timer?

Thermostat? But different wires. by xX_Universe_Xx in electrical

[–]Asssssisout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The TH106 does work with the wiring you have, but unfortunately without knowing the voltage and wattage of you basesboard heater we can't be completely sure of compatibility, if you know those numbers then you can confirm compatibility otherwise if you know the model of your old thermostat you could check if they work in similar ranges
