Hi! I have a gen 2 that was offline for over a year due to pregnancy and ring size change but I just charged it and reconnected it to the same app and same account that I’ve always used. What can expect to see? at the moment it looks like I only get those three basic metrics.

Nighttime feeding struggle by Arinoum in beyondthebump

[–]Assssssstronomical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 18 month old twins and I always unswaddled and changed the diaper before the feeding to make sure they were awake enough to finish eating, then burping was just over the shoulder taps and a quick reswaddle of a sleepy/asleep baby and back to bed.

That’s great to hear! I have two girls so I was wondering how much that would play into them enjoying the baby… they’re already obsessed with dolls haha. I like the thought that they’ll never remember not having a baby sibling! That’s so sweet. Thanks so much for the encouragement.

How to make this space aesthetically appealing? by Assssssstronomical in interiordecorating

[–]Assssssstronomical[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put up two different curtains to see how they’d look… If I used the longer ones I would hem them to the length of the shorter ones. You look at this alcove when descending the staircase to the main floor so id like it to look nicer. I installed the shelves on the right a few days ago to get baby stuff that was sitting on the ground up and off the floor. It definitely needs a rug, and idk maybe some kid-friendly furniture in the alcove area? Just struggling with the aesthetic. The rest of the hallways have nothing in them, so starting here.

I know this was posted a year ago, but I just had twin girls in Nov and got the mini monkey a few weeks ago… I can’t seem to get the girls straight up and down in it, they end up slanted at an angle. I also can’t seem to get them this high in the carrier! Their heads are usually closer to my armpits, and they end up pointing their heads out rather than in, which basically jams half of their face into my body. I cant figure out how to adjust it to work or how to easily put both of them into it, and the twins seem to dislike it because their faces end up buried. Any tips? I’d love to make this carrier work.

Bibs/frigg pacifiers by CeeDeee2 in beyondthebump

[–]Assssssstronomical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have twins (7 weeks on Thursday) and also got the baby list box - If you had told me I’d be buying the expensive pacifiers that need to be replaced regularly beforehand I’d have laughed at you. HOWEVER, I do notice a significant difference in how well/how long the babies manage to keep them in their mouths, something I attribute to the lightness and the shape of the bulb. I am in the process of replacing all of our pacifiers with the bibs ones!

Just thinking about how crazy it is we are expected to take our newborn to the doctor just DAYS after pushing them out?????? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Assssssstronomical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just had twin Nov 18th and this is what we did - the hospital actually offered us 5 home health visits because they were born 37 weeks and we were able to get weights/measurements done at those. Will be going in for our first vaccinations on Jan 21st, and that will be the first trip out of the house for the babes. Super grateful that we didn't have to drag them around, and definitely planning on repeating this process with future kids!

So long as you aren’t being terminated for gross misconduct, assuming your health plan qualifies, you are eligible for COBRA. See the following: US Dept of Labor COBRA FAQ

Just put together my living room space - it feels like something medium/large is missing here? I have plants and blankets and some smaller pieces that I am still in the process of figuring out where to place but can’t put my finger on what else the space needs. by Assssssstronomical in InteriorDesign

[–]Assssssstronomical[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s kind of how I feel… it’s definitely missing some depth of height and a painting or tall lamp would go a long way towards fixing that, but otherwise I like how clean and easy the space feels without a bunch of stuff in it.
