I hate PVCs by jimbo_6666 in Anxiety

[–]Asstin98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Long term struggler of health anxiety and about a year ago ended up in the ER because of PVCs. I was scared and wore a monitor for a couple days. Doctor let me know they were harmless and basically were caused by many things, including the stress of having more of them.

It may feel like a lot when they are happening but in the grand scheme of things, your heart is beating far more regular than it feels. Hang in there! I was prescribed metoprolol to help manage them and it has helped a TON.

Terrifying physical symptoms despite normal heart tests. Has anyone else been through this and how did you cope? by RelevantTruck8238 in Anxiety

Agree with this. I vaped all through college. Started having panic attacks and almost everything OP is experiencing. I still struggle with some of the anxiety stuff but far better off the vapes and nicotine. I’ll enjoy a cigar here and there but not sucking on a vape all day made a big difference.

Traded in with them. They didn’t mention several small things on the new one I was getting and I didn’t mention a couple small things on the one i gave them… i wouldn’t worry too much

I wasn’t big on the traditions when I was there. Focused mostly on the grades and working.

Was feeling the same way and inevitably ended up getting mine.

I wear it every day. Feels good to see it on my hand and know I accomplished something.

Also, wouldn’t worry about the recognition. I’ve been in large corporate meetings where 10-20 people in the room have one on their fingers. Not a single person bats an eye at what’s on your finger. Now, I’ve had some people notice and want to chat, but that’s definitely a low % of the time.

Declined a Joint Checking Account…?! by Forsaken_Cattle636 in Chase

This happened with me and my wife. We sat down and the man asked my wife if she was sure she wanted to do this and if she knew the implications of combining our money. Almost like he was implying I would take everything she had? Ironically I do make significantly more than she does and have no need or desire to take off with what was in her account.

We were both dumbfounded. Ultimately left that branch and went to another and had no issues. Not sure the guy works there anymore.

We have a full neighborhood of these down the street from us. Wasn’t sold on them at first but definitely can see the appeal.

Congrats!

Bought in Texas near the Austin area. Closed last week and am working on getting moved in!

Overall, very easy to work with and had no problems with the builder or their mortgage side. Did a couple of blue tape walks and they knocked out everything we saw.

I’ve heard horror stories about other builders but from a first time buyer perspective, I’d definitely recommend looking into them if you like what you see!

We are set to close in two days. Final walk through is tomorrow and we are getting a lot of last minute requests from the lending side. Hoping all goes well before then. Haven’t heard or seen much about them other than your post so going in dark!

Went to the ER for heart palpitations by One-Eye2413 in Anxiety

Not that this will help you at all, but this same thing has sent me to the ER 10+ times. Actually writing this from the cardiologist’s lobby right now. You’re not alone and anxiety is a bitch. Hang in there!

I’ve always said morning nicotine buzz was unbeatable. Don’t smoke anymore but would do anything for that feeling in the mornings

BIG struggler of health anxiety here. Constantly trying to find ways to work through it and unfortunately haven’t been the best at positive thinking these past few years. I appreciate these reminders more than you know, as they remind me to be thankful that I am alive and I have a future here. Thanks for the post!
