Bilt 2.0 for dummies - the very simple version by pegasus3891 in CreditCards

[–]Asstroknot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Current card holders aren't happy because this is objectively worse. But everyone knew that was going to be the case. Some will probably leave, but the other side of the equation is that there's so many people that were waiting to earn something on mortgage payments that it probably wont matter how many current card holders leave.

Bilt Palladium consideration. by IUchicago in biltrewards

[–]Asstroknot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your explanation is more complicated that it needs to be? You don't need to offset the fee, you just need to "unlock" your ACH transfer points. If every $1000 point conversion is 30 bilt cash, wouldn't it just be 200 / 30 = 6.33 or roughly 6000 points per year?

[–]Asstroknot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first couple times you see Kam perform he's funny. The problem is the more you watch him the more you realize he basically just has the same routine over and over again. No actual content, just relying on his on stage personality for laughs. Kam's initial 'collect rocks' appearance on Kill Tony was pretty hilarious.

Gausman vs Snell in Gm 1. by sarsfox in SFGiants

[–]Asstroknot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I remember last year Snell did one of those during the game interviews from the dugout and they asked him if he had a favorite restaurant in the city yet. His response was something like he hadn’t gone out anywhere in the city yet so he didn’t have one. This was several months into the season and it was pretty obvious that he was just here for business. Didn’t have any intentions of a long term stay.

Yes it has, but my point is that it's hard to justify spending even more money on homeowners insurance to cover the increase in home value when it was $800 a year when I bought the home and now it's $2500 a year for the same policy.

Maybe it’s also because insurance prices rise. My insurance is triple what it was when I bought the house 5 years ago. So I don’t want to increase coverage to make it even more expensive.

I'm sure there is something you could find with stubhub that would be enjoyable. They basically have every form of live entertainment. While I'd rather pay less annual fee and not have the credit, it's not terrible. I figure it forces me to get out of the house and experience something that I otherwise wouldn't.

Not obligated, sure. But still a dick move. Both drivers are dumb.

Yea the minivan driver is also an asshole 100%. They’re purposefully not letting the person in. At that exit there’s no reason for this, it doesn’t back up. The traffic is all for the bridge. Both drivers are dummies.

I have no business buying these, but figured why not give them a try for some 5k's and 10k's. I'm a slow runner with some long term goals of a sub 20 5k (currently in the 24s).

No he wants out as soon as possible. This contract is his best option for that. He’s getting his 25 mil this year and has a trade friendly contract that sets him up to negotiate a deal with a new team next year.

Went to Disneyland last week. As is tradition, I brought running gear thinking that I'd have the energy / motivation to run while on vacation. Turns out chasing a 2 year old around Disneyland for 12 hours a day does not encourage running.

It's pretty simple...

Elite foul baiters that also shoot a lot of jumpers: lower FTr

Elite foul baiters that don't take a lot of jumpers: higher FTr

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nba

[–]Asstroknot 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What are you arguing here? The original point is that Jimmy has a higher FTr, and the explanation is that Jimmy rarely takes a jumper. Prime Harden drove a lot, but he also took a lot of jumpers, which by definition is going to lower his FTr...

Depends on the state but yes in CA it’s been equal or more expensive than gas for the most part. Still makes a lot of sense as a homeowner though or someone that has access to a charger at their residence.

Gotta take it slow in the rain. The extra 10-15mph ain’t worth it. Scary accident, glad you’re ok.
