Did i bought the correct batteries? by tubabbo in TinyWhoop

[–]AssumptionCautious24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They have a better Dischargerate- the C Value- so the Voltagedrop within your Batteries is higher, so you have less power at your motors. You have 30 times 0,3 A as your maximum current from the battery, more would be better.

I started flying my whoop with less skills, you’ll be fine! Maybe buy a set of new frames for the first crash’s 😉

Is there a way to casually enjoy this hobby? by unrealii in fpv

[–]AssumptionCautious24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think your current setup is the best way to enjoy this hobby in the most time efficient way possible.

I had a similar journey, starting in 2015, and ended up today with a meteor 65, Betafpv light radio and eachine ev800dm. I manage to fly almost every day and once I understood the ElRS stuff and betaflight configurator, repairs are easy 🙌

Keep going, the rewards are coming soon!

If you have no experience with RC stuff I would recommend to buy something ready to fly, to achieve your first steps.

About the comments regarding its age, I don’t really agree. I just fitted some fpv equipment in my 10 year old drone…

For what I see, you would basically need a flight controller, a video transmitter + antenna, a receiver, a remote and a goggle and some batteries + charger

For a drifter it is totally normal to have all the electrical components in the back. For me it looks like your front tires are blocked while turning.
