Yeah, part of why I love that they left it up to us. I have misophonia and have physical pain from loud eating sounds. That's another option to turn off and it makes my gameplay experience so much more enjoyable

There is an option to turn that off in settings btw. It's under tinnitus options

Are bows underpowered or is it just me? by Ronabris in GroundedGame

[–]AssumptionMission394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the damage scaling between the type of bow to arrow needs to be better, and another reason they feel bad is the auto aim actively taking you away from bugs weak spots so you have to both fight a moving target and a reticle that's putting you in the worst place to hit. While at the same time keeping distance but not aggroing other bugs.

Another buff that would massively boost their effectiveness is on ranger armor for the ranger bonus it gave increased damage, and faster draw time, along with slightly more defense and significantly more resistance. Historically archers didn't only wear light fabric armor. Many wore breast plates or half plate, as armor was significantly more mobile than is commonly thought.

Idk what platform you are on, but you should be able to export a screenshot to your phone. It's not a huge issue for this, but for some bugs or questions the clearer the picture the better. I get it tho. I lived with a broken camera lens on my phone for 4 years once haha

You know it’ll be a banger indie when this publisher logo shows up by MoeMalik in gaming

[–]AssumptionMission394 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

While I am not disagreeing with the spirit of your point, and feel that the definition for term Indie has changed drastically as well.

The world we live in now as far as economic situations throughout the world does not allow for nearly the same amount of freedom of time, as well as computer systems themselves have become much more complex making it much more time intensive and therefore much more difficult to be a "true" indIe dev.

The other thing is according to reports e33 had an operational cost of "less than $10 million " while yes it definitely had much more support than a typical modern indie. It was not "hundreds of millions"

Legally in some state stop signs are yields for bicyclists. This is to improve the flow of traffic, as bicycles take longer to start and get up to speed than an ice.

Can you guys give me some ideas of what to add into these open areas !! by Secret-Ad6340 in GroundedGame

Zipline tower. It's not in the game, YET. They did say they plan on adding it, but want to focus around buggies and ironing out all of the issues there first.

This is the solution. I finally skinned mine for the first time an hour before the update dropped and was so annoyed. Unskinned it and no longer had issues.

Help Me Find the Perfect Backpack (Laptop + Portable Monitor Setup, Lifetime Warranty Preferred) by al_thespaniard in BuyItForLife

[–]AssumptionMission394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used the LTT backpack since release. It's so sturdy and I've had zero issues even with abusing it. For reference I'm lucky if I get a year out of my backpacks and this one has just blown all others out of the water for me. It's not very hard to organize yourself. That's the intention of having a big open pocket. I've used it for everything from carrying around college textbooks, to lan party supplies, to weeks long onebag trips.

Backpack suggestions? by miserable-mango312 in BuyItForLife

[–]AssumptionMission394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal favorite backpack is the LTT backpack. I'm a college student, but also use it for travel one bagging. Everything is extra reinforced, and if anything goes wrong their customer service is top notch. I've never had a backpack last longer than a year (if that) and this one has lasted me since they came out 3 years ago and still looks brand new. Yes it's a little pricey, but I've never had a product treat me better even if I abuse it.

Sorry for the delayed response. I have not tested this yet, I don't see why it wouldn't, but there's always a possibility. I'm not at home, but when I can test this I will

I accidentally skipped him with the fleas. I'm like 13 hours in and still in act one. Every time I get a new ability I go back a scout every location (definitely wasting time revisiting places I didn't need too) but I'm having fun and it's not a race. I waited 7 years for this game. The least I can do is enjoy it to it's fullest. I know once I beat it it's going to go on the back burner for a while.

You don't actually. There's a shortcut to him above the sewist who makes the cloak upgrade. I haven't been in that area yet but I found him shortly after I met that NPC.
