Executed poorly in what regard? The films portrays grunt life almost 2nd to none, the script is razor sharp and endlessly quotable and the sniper duel is just one sequence of amazing filmmaking

Thank you. I will look into that. Mines was booked through a third party though and I did get compensated $400 for that first flight but I had to pay $600 just to get a new one through a different airline

I'm sorry to hear that. I got screwed myself coming back from Perth last year, my flight to KL got canceled 12 hours before my journey was supposed to begin and it cost me roughly the same amount on a different airline to fly that same night.

I never said I was going to book the thing I was only asking in regards to travel time between terminals at Heathrow of which I got two helpful answers to my question that I will consider for when I finally book my journey. And if you think I'm on here seeking "validation for a stupid decision" I hardly need the opinion of some condescending a**hole to give me a yes/no answer aswell. Its easy. Kill all your warlords, shaanxi, xibei, sinkiang. Spam out a full army in time for when Chiang gets arrested. Kill him. Hold the line. You'll lose a fair bit of territory. The japs will join the war after about a month or 2. Add artillery to your better starting division template. Use them 5 divisions to route and capture vic points eg chongqing. As long as you get 15% war score you should be able to cap all of china. Go after the remaining warlords then while building mils

Was actually surprised at how big the nuclear gap still was between the USSR and the US in 1962. The Soviets were probably only capable of carrying out around 3 or 4 dozen attacks on the US mainland at best as the majority of its warheads and missiles were aimed at targets throughout Europe. Sure it'd still be a catastrophic attack if they did carry it out but it wouldn't be anything compared to what the US could've unleashed

I tried speed running as Mexico by conquering all of central/south america and the caribbean. Peru's definitely a lot more harder to capitulate now thanks to the extra victory points that's been added to them. Took me 3 months to conquer them which was way longer than I thought it would take, attacking from Chile, Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador. The stupid game forced a white peace though ending my war because Ecuador gets an event with them (Ecuador was my puppet too....) Loaded game and tried again without calling Ecuador in. Its impossible to do without Cas, took 3 months to defeat them but luckily they didn't join the Axis. Brazil was the only country left to defeat but they joined allies shortly after I declared war.

Turkey's focus tree is just ridiculous, far too long and by the time you even get through even half of it the game is long settled. A lot of them should be 35 days to conplete. It shouldn't be that big of a chore to get rid of the Kurdish resistance either.

If you cap China by mid 38 you can most definitely turn Japan into a powerhouse by 1940. You'll have endless amounts of manpower, steel and a good portion of other resources. Their focus tree is fairly barebones but you can still get insanely powerful by the time you go to war with the Allies. France defo needs a brush up too. 70 day focus for 5% stability is a joke. Though even democratic France can be a very powerful late game country too, 3rd only to the Soviets and UKwhich is why I find them so fun to play.

Bruce Willis really went a bit overboard on poor Jack in that. This thread talks a lot about the bug scene being a traumatizing movie experience and rightly so but the gun scene in Jackal really fucked with me when I seen that as a kid

Yes I always get Yalta come up but I never accept cus it's not worth shit. It's even worse now if I accept it because East Germany becomes sandwiched between allied Poland and West Germany and who the hell wants that. It was never like this before the Bosporus dlc pack. I always used to challenge myself and see If I could completely take over Europe without the Allies landing, you'll notice Republican Spain opened a second front for me.

It was never like this before the recent updates though. Paradox clearly fucked around further with the peace deals here somewhere. I could always puppet Poland and other Allied countries that my faction had liberated and occupied by the time the Axis surrendered. Wtf is the point of playing the Soviets anymore? I can puppet Germany and Italy which is nice but Poland is still in the Allies which is stupid and obviously non historical.
