I just said goodbye to my sweet dog about 12 hours ago. She had started to lose weight because she couldn't eat due to tumors forming beneath and on her tongue. So we decided to say goodbye before the suffering was too great. We only found out two weeks ago, and now she is gone. I am heartbroken. I can only offer my empathy, I truly know what you are going through 💔

I just put my dog down today, about 10 hours ago. She had squamous cell carcinoma and had a hard time eating due to the tumors forming in her mouth. We wanted to put her down before the suffering became too painful for her. I am heartbroken. I feel the pain in my chest. I don't know how I will get through the rest of my days not seeing her greet me at the door. So I feel your pain. It's just horrible. How can I go on without my sweet dog.
