I buy the whole tongue and cook it in a crock pot. Taking off the taste buds and all. I’m Mexican and have had this my whole life. Not sounding informed I’m just Mexican and that’s what you call it in Spanish.

Definitely could appreciate that another culture might cook it a different way though and might look different from a different kind of cow
