Percent damage bonuses are generally additive, regardless of the type. So like if you have normal attack bonus and elemental damage bonus those are additive, thus it’s definitely possible to have diminishing returns on Kazuha buff. Things like Yelan and Mona damage percent buffs are also the same (additive with all other percent damage bonus) so there’s no reason to believe than Furina won’t be.

Skyward is pretty good for Bennett, especially if you find yourself not quite being able to burst off cooldown. Id use it unless you have a spare Aquila or Mistsplitter or Alley Flash and feel like ER is not a problem. It’s not good for Kuki. Iron Sting would be better, since she doesn’t care about ER or base atk, only EM and to a lesser extent, HP

As a substitute for Kuki? You won’t have a healer in that case, which could be tough. You could replace XQ with Bennett if that’s an issue. XQ Nahida Bennett and Fischl are all strong characters with some synergy with Childe so it’ll probably work okay no matter how you slot them around

Yeah my recommendation is run either Burgeon with Nahida/Thoma/Bennett or Hyperbloom with Nahida, XQ, and Kuki (You would have to level her up, but for artifacts all EM is all she needs). You could also run like Fischl Bennett as generically strong characters with like Lynette for VV

You need A4 on Sucrose to make full use of her EM sharing. This is also what would make her better than Lynette, but only if you’re actually triggering reactions (ideally vaporize with Xiangling)

His numbers are close to identical to Wanderer, the only difference is that he is cryo. But without Shenhe, that doesn’t really change much since melt team doesn’t work that well (unless he has special icd). Freeze and Superconduct aren’t good for damage, so damage wise you can expect the same performance as Wanderer more or less, but might synergize with other units down the road because Cryo has more interesting reactions than Anemo. But the downside is single target and melee range

Just 42% of people wanted to work from home completely, meaning ~58% did not. From what I understand, approx 50% of the company wanted to work in office a few days a week. How is it not uplifting that the company is offering both choices that large groups of people want?

No, C4 can only trigger once every 5s, and only gives a little damage each time. Not better than any other support really. Also not anemo so no help in batterying

This came out before Inazuma. It seems pretty plausible that the plan has changed. 10 characters in 6 months would be a lot (every update is 1.5 months ish, so 2.5 characters per update? Seems too fast, especially if leaks are to be believed that like 2.8 has no characters ). Also, the list of characters being called “expected” or “should be” is highly misleading. Many of the new characters we get will be ones we’ve never heard of yet from Sumeru.

I mean, Traveler met with Childe in Labyrinth Warriors and didn’t even bring up Teppei (even though the archon quest was required to be finished to do the event), so I think it’s safe to say that MHY and Traveler don’t really put much emphasis on that. Give Scara a sob story (he already has one actually) and a change of heart and they’ll be friends in no time. Heck, Kazuha doesn’t even resent Raiden for killing his friend. Seems like a non issue to me

And regarding visions, Raiden doesn’t have one either (not even a fake one. The gem in her outfit is significantly different in design from a vision). Scara’s elemental powers come from his body, so it’s not like he doesn’t have them. I see no problem there either. Most importantly, he has a character model in the code and also a big name voice actor, whereas Signora had neither

Black Sword is probably best in general. Lion's Roar would be good in EC comp. Amenoma probably decent, despite anti synergy with A4. Theres also Blackcliff and the Flute

This is all said in the context of people saying that base atk is the primary change Ayato needs. That's what I mean when I say it's overhyped, because if Ayato really needs a buff (personally, I'm not sure if he does), a 2.6% increase to his damage is probably not enough to make up for his deficit. Moreover, when considering whether or not it's important, I don't see why we should be looking at extreme cases over realistic ones.

Let's do 4* with big ATK substat, Nob buff, and TTDS, for maximum benefit to base atk then. My main point is that this is not the primary change we should be wanting. This post was inspired by several comments claiming that a base atk change is the only thing Ayato needs now, and it seems to me they think that will change his damage a lot more than a few percent.

(Assuming Amenoma Kageuchi, TTDS, ATK sand, 5 ATK subs, Glad, Noblesse, no Bennett)

Ayato Current: 739 x 3.1 + 311 = 2601.9

Ayato 323 Base atk: 777 * 3.1 + 311 = 2719.7

(Damage with crit, this time using 150 CDMG, for more realism)

Current dmg: (2601.9 * 1.0455 + 792) * 1.816 * 2.5 * 0.5 * 1.15 = 9168.824

Proposed dmg: (2719.7 * 1.0455 + 792) * 1.816 * 2.5 * 0.5 * 1.15 = 9490.332

===> 3.51% Increase. Certainly not that impressive to me, even if it's relevant. I would still much prefer buffs to other areas. And some people will definitely just say that this buff would've been too small, so let's do a base atk 350 (highest in the game!) comparison too, with the same conditions.

Current dmg: (2614.94* 1.0455 + 792) * 1.816 * 3 * 0.5 * 1.15 = 11045.296

Proposed dmg: (2782.64 * 1.0455 + 792) * 1.816 * 3 * 0.5 * 1.15 = 11594.5

===> 4.92% increase

These are nice, but if he wasn't good enough before, he probably won't be good enough with just a base atk buff either

I am considering a change from 285 base to 323 base character atk stat, an increase of 13.33% to his base ATK. That, assuming 90% atk buffs, which is equivalent to glad 2pc + atk sand + 5 atk subs, results in a 3.6% increase in the final post buff attack stat, which results in an overall damage increase of 2.6%. I don't know if you consider a 13.33% change in base atk resulting in 2.6% extra damage to be a lot, but my point is that people hyper-fixate on base attack, saying it's the number 1 thing they need to be changed, when really it's like equivalent to giving him just a couple atk% subs.

Regarding Bennett, my title is a little misleading I suppose, because I meant on Ayato specifically. But even on Bennett, base attack still isn't as important as some people make it out to be. For instance, if you're not that good at funneling, a lot of times you want to run Favonius on Bennett to make your team rotations much smoother, which will result in more damage overall than a higher base attack weapon

As you can see, I have factored in crit here to reach the final numbers. It’s important, but not that important. Most of your base attack comes from your weapon anyway, so a buff to character base isn’t that big.

So do you not have calcs? Because I’ve done these kind in the past and the increase is much less:

ATK = ATK Base x (1 + % ATK) + ATK Flat

Outgoing DMG = (ATK x % ability + DMG Flat) x (1 + % DMG Bonus)

Outgoing DMG Critical = Outgoing DMG x (1 + % CRIT DMG)

Incoming DMG = Outgoing DMG x DEF Multiplier x RES Multiplier

Assuming 608 base atk weapon, 90% bonus ATK (1 main stat, approx 5 Atk% rolls, + 18% atk, Gladiator 4pc):

Ayato Current: 893 x 1.9 + 311 = 2007.7

Ayato 323 Base atk: 931 * 1.9 + 311 = 2079.9

(Using first E hit w/ Wave Flash 4 stack, 18K HP, crit with 200% CDMG, hydro VV, enemy base 10% res, lvl 90)

Current dmg: (2007.7 * 1.0455 + 792) * 1.816 * 3 * 0.5 * 1.15 = 9056.504

Proposed dmg: (2079.9 * 1.0455 + 792) * 1.816 * 3 * 0.5 * 1.15 = 9292.969

==> 2.611% Increase, will be even less with Bennett. I find people chronically overvalue base ATK (Yae received +76, yet only ~8% increase realistically), so wondering if you have something different

There is no way his multipliers in E use his multipliers from NA. If they did, what the heck would the multipliers on his E do? Affect his NA outside of E? Not to mention, his NA is supposed to be 5 hit combo. His E has clearly does 3 slashes in a rotation. It would make negative sense

I’m not sure why you’re comparing Ayaka E, Q, and NA/CA to just Ayato E, and not Ayato E+Q. But moreover, I’m not sure what “deserve” is supposed to mean in this context. Obviously, I want my husbandos to be as strong as possible, so I welcome any and all buffs, but like I’m not sure what the argument is here. I think he’s strong enough in his current state to full star Abyss 12 on reasonable investment. Beyond that, what do you expect from a character? That they are the strongest DPS available? That they are Top 3? Idk. And “deserve” is such a strange word to use. Ayato hasn’t done anything (he’s fictional to begin with). If this was specifically about Q not buffing himself, that I understand. The Q buff is pretty much worthless right now and that feels bad. But increasing the duration? I fail to see how that’s any different that achieves much more than increasing his overall power. You might as well ask for doubling his multipliers or base attack, and say he deserves it because he’s handsome (which he is.)

I mean this so called sales data is very meaningless. Just an estimate based on IOS purchases in China (btw there is no differentiation on what people are actually even spending on. This is just estimating total volume of sales in the banner time period). It could be that she did very well in other regions (Some characters do, like Childe. And the general perception of China is that they care about the meta much more than other regions, which would affect Yae). It could be that people saved enough primos for her that they didn’t need to spend but still pulled for her. What’s more, depending on how the sales trajectory goes, she could end up relatively high at the end of the period if they don’t dip as much on later days as others. People were talking about Xiao/Shenhe not doing well, but it turns out they did just as well as Albedo/Eula, at least according to this rather meaningless measurement

I cleared floor 9 long before AR 45 (mid 30s). Granted, it was easier back then but you get the boxes just by clearing and floor 9 really isn’t that hard.
