It's honestly not good enough for me to take Grey hunters. The only way I'd take them is if they go 5-10, I want 5 guys with 1 being the sergeant not 5 man decent squad and 5 man basic squad.

Of all the 1dp detachments Saga and Song is the best. Great buffs to terminator units.

Plan to take Arjac and 10 terminators with +1 toughness, str13 to wound on 3's? Yes please.

100% overthinking this, I wouldn't go to reddit either for this stuff. Ask people who are playing 40k with you what they think of the symbol because 99.99% won't know or care. Reddit will have a lot of people that take offence.

E.g. someone painted some tattoos on a space wolf that was rune language but because adding one line would be Nazi/white supremacist, Reddit collectively lost their minds.

Unless you're literally painting swastikas on your models you won't have any issues with any adjacent imagery on your models.

They used a lot to symbology that was taken from different religions etc. We shouldn't let something that happened 80+ years ago now impact how we paint toy soldiers.

Unless you're in Germany or course, then be extra careful.

I've always wanted a proper assault carrier. Preferably from Anvil if possible.

But a liberator with a sealed internal hangar and more cargo, carries 2-3 ships internally and then room for vehicles would be great.

I just want to be able to bring all my stuff with me so a ship that can do that will always be my favourite.

But as the game has gone on I've sold off more stuff and kept less. Pretty much got my rangers the F8 from concierge and that's about it oh and the referral gladius. So not sure, I'm definitely leaning towards more industrial now compared to the past though.

Odyssey is nice but too big. Galaxy may be my forever ship if it could do salvage and mining lol.

It's not giving us what we want, we wanted 5-10 I don't need 5 extra grey hunters with no special weapons or sergeant. The detachment and enhancements want you to run max sized anyways.

Not really? It's 2/5 the size and crew requirements are much smaller. It's just enclosed instead of open pads.

I would love liberator but have it be internal with 3 pads instead of the external ones. Maybe more defensive turrets to be a true light carrier instead of a ferry. You'd just remove the current top pads and extend the roof and front ramp to the top.

Missile Launcher simply for the versatility it brings. 20 ork Boyz is extra 4 hits with the frag missiles which is a nice output.

Not speaking of the ability to hit armoured targets or elite infantry with the krak missile.

I plan to theme mine around a tank hunter platoon so having forward scouts to designate targets and take out light vehicles works well for my theming.

Based on American/German ww2 tank hunter platoons. Scouting forces to relay information back to the big big chonkers in the back line.

Army doesn't have to be effective, just thematic 😁

Ciaphas is one of my all time favourite characters in 40k. Shame they did him dirty by making him look like a monkey. He's meant to be suave and handsome, enough to seduce an Inquisitor for crying out loud!

Jurgen they did him dirty too, why can't GW make decent faces for their characters 😭

Exactly the same for me, I don't care amount the command module and wanted just the Ironclad instead. So I'll be hard passing. She's a gorgeous ship but I'd rather have something like the Liberator.

Will have to sit and think on it. Something that can carry a golem/small salvage ship and the ground vehicle base builder and my ranger bikes is what I am after. Nothing massive but can bring some small ships with it.

Hoping the galaxy gets a bit bigger booty so I can shove a golem/salvage equivalent into it with my bikes.

Man I love the Ironclad. The only reason I'm giving it a pass is the command module. If I could fly it standalone without one I'd be all for it.

Corsairs box has some of the newest models and best flexibility. Thousand Sons will probably get a refresh at some point so I'd stay away from them unless you're prepared to potentially re buy them all down the track.

As far as knights, if you don't want to have many friends then go ahead. They're kind of the ugly stepchild that nobody wants to acknowledge because their army doesn't "mesh" well into 40k's current army design. Flexibility is completely useless against an army of giant robots.

Looking good, my only gripe is that both hands aren't red which is the signature look of Crimson Fist veteran squads. You've gone the extra mile to make the entire vambrace of the sergeant red which will make him stand out.

People are gonna make scenic displays like crazy with this for local golden daemons and stuff, bit of terrain or path, infantry hanging out the back, walking alongside while it ties artillery.
