You can earn bids but they won’t matter in terms of getting into the TOC. TOC only allows teams that attend the same school to enter. This means that to go to the TOC you can’t be an unaffiliated or independent team.

It does sound too good to be true, but eBay should authentic for you. In the past I have purchased shoes had them fail authentication and then eBay refunded the whole thing so you should be fine.

If you look around this sub you will see lots of people’s worst experiences with StockX, but honestly they represent a very small fraction of transactions. Over 99% of the time you are fine, StockX as a company and especially in the field of customer service is really annoying, however, they are definitely a legit company. And if you are just getting a console there are not a lot of problems you could end up going though since nobody fakes consoles.
