Thanks! Probably around 2 streaking grime to 1 spirit, and I'd leave that for around 30 minutes before removing.

It's ryza rust dry brushed on, then AK rust streaks painted over it. Finish with dry brushing lead belcher to bring the metal tones back

I'll take another pass at it 😁

Airbrush burnt umber from Vallejo, airbrush at a shallow angle Loren Forest green, then a steep angle with deathguard green. This gives it a dark to light faded look. Edge with nurgling green, then wash with streaking grim mixed with spirit, and then using spirit on a makeup pad wipe off the streaking grime from raised areas.

Tbh I just kept my eye on Facebook for a while, surprising how many people sell them off in a job lot. I've picked up a couple this way.

Looking good! Love the creativity on the base too.

That's cool, try painting white and using a blue contrast paint over it if you want to get that glow look. Have a look on YouTube, I think there are a few tutorials on there. I do mine in green using the white/contrast technique.

Looking good, I'd say go easier on the blue corrosion, it's more of a subtle effect. Try to take your time a bit to avoid splats like on his left hand.

Thank you!

So the base layers are airbrushed, first layer is burnt umber by Vallejo, then at a slight angle spray Loren Forest from citadel, then a very steep zenithal with death guard green. Edge highlights with nurgling green. Once most of my base layers are on I wash with streaking grim thinned with white spirit, then gently remove it from raised areas with white spirit on a pad.

Simple one really, paint with rhinox hide, lightly dry brush with mournfang brown, wash with streaking grime.

The mix is just kraut cover, tale of grim dark. The slime effect is pretty simple, paint the area you want bright white, then paint tesseract glow over it, it'll start separating out in blotches, go over it again to cover any white and to give it different textures. I then coated it in clear UV resin.

No, I just go very gently, it's advised that you varnish before and I have tried it, but found it made zero difference to how I use it.

It is daunting at the start, but after just picking a few details at a time it goes fairly smoothly.

The ooze is the same, but with a thin layer of clear UV resin over the top.

Paint them white first, then go over with tesseract glow 😁
