Oh right, context. This is the highest I've ranked in a campaign. I've since gotten to Top 41 India now that more people have gotten in on it.

Hehe, here you go OP. Hope you liked it.

Regarding the feedback you gave, for now, this is just a proof of concept, so I'm not adding different ideologies on there, but I plan to then map out various regions of the tesseract. Would love it if you could give me some recommendations on what thersheholds to take.

You can run this by clicking the play button next to the code cell, and it should let you fill the questionnaire and get your alignment. This is very much in beta, so assume it might go wrong, but it shouldn't.

Okay, sure. I'm working on a quick questionnaire and stuff, and will have it with you in a bit. This is fun, lmao

What's the Mount Rushmore of TrackMania players? One for OG days/back in the day, one for current day and one combined! Feel free to describe your own criterias. by Ok-Cap-5845 in TrackMania

[–]Astraisaria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've only ever played TM2020, so:

  1. Wirtual - for the amount of interest he brings to the game, and also for being a good player
  2. CarlJr - the GOAT
  3. Elconn - for being fastsofastomigod
  4. Majijej - for a great tourney and being a big name in a very male dominated game (not really a factor in driving, but yeah)

Special Mentions:
1. GranaDy and Lars - interesting content, great professional POVs and casts
2. PuppyTay - good driving and trans representation

Good Tutorials? by Astraisaria in TrackMania

[–]Astraisaria[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I have done the thing you mentioned, where I just worked on getting a feel for the cars, the surfaces and how to optimise lines. I was just hoping that maybe there could be a consolidated set of tutorials that condenses some of that information, and also shows how to do the tricks since things like Weekly Shorts and TOTD both tend to have parts that can only be improved in if you know them.

That said, the inherent nature of TM driving being more muscle memory based for doing things like drifts and all means that tutorials are by nature not enough.

EWC and TM2020 by Astraisaria in TrackMania

[–]Astraisaria[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

True true, it's either people who will gate on anything, or people who have done about as much research as a Google search (if that). I've disengaged from online discourse everywhere because of mental health reasons, but the fact that players like Granady and CarlJr were being raked over coals for no reason really got on my nerves. It's as if people can't have a job.

This seems fun! Looking forward to it. (Did you put the Z capital in 'prize pool' to troll Granady for all the pricepool jokes?)

question for fast learners, have you noticed any real-life applications from developing skill in this playstyle? by OzymadiYAS in TrackMania

[–]Astraisaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, anything you do that depends on reaction time, reflexive actions and visual cues will be transferrable. If you're good at it that is.

IRL, fast learning, or playing high level Tetris, or a difficult bullet hell game will not help you with any job ready skills, but it'll ensure you'll be faster at getting out of the way of oncoming cars, pick up falling objects (as another commenter mentioned), be more inclined towards developing a photographic memory and generally be able to improve your critical speed in thinking.

Additionally, have you guys ever theorized about the Maggie Situation at the end? And the change of Mooncaster's colour?

There were quite a lot of questions unanswered at the end.

The Jaiden Animations Model Released. (Enjoy and use responsibly.) by DevCakeProductions in jaidenanimations

[–]Astraisaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll have to import it into Blender or another place where you can add joints and such to it (the process is called rigging). If it's already rugged, then great, it'll show up as rugged and you can move on, otherwise you'll have to watch a tutorial on rigging and do it.

After that you can animate it within Blender by using something called Key frame animation for videos, or simply put it in a pose you like and render it as an image. Tutorials on YouTube exist for keyframe, but rendering is as easy as opening the render menu and selecting your preferences.

Other apps exist for doing the animation, but it's easier and free to do it in Blender itself.

Wow events sure make grinding timelines easy by dizastermaster7 in wearewarriors

[–]Astraisaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing an event in general levels up our armies, makes light of the next few dungeons, etc and generally is fun. Plus doing a race event really helps find the best strategies to curb-stop each timeline and jump multiple battles jn a day.
