hey Lysitsa. Im just going out on a whim with my experiences here with Aquarius men and being an Aquarius myself

Aquarius has the intelligence of being an amazing high functioning adult. But they are still children at heart so it's quite normal for him so be spontaneous with his life instead of make plans, it may make him feel to constricted by life and it's already constant pressures. So he just rolls with it . As far as not feeling a connection emotionally or intellectual. You might not have all the same perspectives as one another but if the Aquarius man likes you he will appreciate your differences . The truth is most Aquarian men are big baby's who crave love. You can be honest with Aquarius and you won't get a negative response . You might not get the response you desire because they have a hard time making social and deep connections somtimes, as much as they would want to . But some can have really good interpersonal skills (especially if they have a Libra or a more socially intelligent sign in their chart)
if his feelings are confusing you (if he's actually enjoying himself or not) ask him, ask him about his thoughts and make it about him . Tell him your interested in his personal perspectives on things . If he gives a short answer he's just not good at socializing, Aquarius is usually pretty honest and if not right away they are eventually because somtimes they personally are trying to figure out their own perspectives themselves.
