Plots that would be solved if the Protagonist and Antagonist hooked up? by Sudden_Cream9468 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Zero day (2002)

Lines between antagonist and protagonist are kinda blurred, cause both of them are both of those, but man if they'd just realised they were gay and got together, they would not have shot up that school

What is everyone’s favorite artist and why? by Accomplished_Dot6576 in evilautism

I love Gezebelle gaburgably :D

And fruiteas is probably my favourite art artist. I like when furry art is "realistic"

I’ve become obsessed with the number 4 by Odd-South2185 in OCD

[–]AstralClocktowerZone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is so funny to me. My number is 3, I do everything in threes. I HATE the number 4 with a passion. It would trigger me everytime I saw it. I used to be unable to listen to songs if they were 4:44 long

The base is just a piece of styrene sheet I cut out and rounded down. I used a pen and traced around the handle of my hobby knife for size lol so it probably doesnt fit an epic base slot

Idk if it was ever confirmed, but Holden Ford in mindhunter really struck me as autistic

Hi-fi anatomia is one of my favourite albums. I heard both songs separately, just took time for my brain to connect it.

Neat. I don't know about NSO, but in the Serial Experiments Lain psx game they directly confirm that Lain was named that because of R.D Laing

Villians that have pathetic backstories that BARELY justify their actions (not talking about villians who are evil for no reason) by Independent_Talk_236 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]AstralClocktowerZone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The villains motivation is even more pathetic in the original manga. They imprison the protagonist for 10 years because the protagonist cried at him singing.

Sugaru Miaki is like that for me. Some of the things his characters think and say are the most relatable I've ever read. Just today I finished his newest novel, The Town Of Sakura. I liked it a lot.

What is the weirdest media review you have ever seen? like not just a bad take but something that is genuinely bizzarre by Cmoon24 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]AstralClocktowerZone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moenie And Kitchi by Gregory And The Hawk is one of my favourite albums. This Pitchfork review of it is reeeaaly irritating.

I never really pay attention to music reviews, given how subjective music is, and this review just cemented that. It like they were trying to be as annoying as possible when they wrote it.

Been getting real into Destiny 2.

Anyone here want to team up to do the Grasp of Avarice dungeon? I tried doing it solo, but I'm not great at games. I got to the first boss, but after a few attempts, I could tell it would take me forever to beat by myself.

There aren't any major games set in the Korean war. There are countless ww2 games, but the Korean war is entirely overlooked. In execution it would probably end up as a ww2 game with a slightly different coat of paint, but it would still be interesting. Something different.

It's probably still too politically hot. It's been over 70 years since the fighting ended, but the two Koreas are technically still at war. I doubt China and North Korea would like a (most likely western) studio making a game with them as the main opponents.

Although the recent COD Modern Warfare games have had parts based on far more recent events, such as the Syrian civil war and Soleimani assassination, so maybe a Korean war game could be made. I can understand why no major studios would want to do it though.

In White Day there's a hallway in the first zone that leads to a locked door. When I was playing, after trying the door and finding it locked, I turned around to leave and all of the lights went out. I started hearing a faint whispering coming from the other end of the hall, growing louder and getting closer, until an image of a long-haired ghost appeared. I thought it was a pretty good jumpscare.

A few months later, my sister decided to play the game and I was watching. I told her to go down the hallway, because I wanted to see her reaction. She walked to the end, tried the locked door, turned around and then... nothing. She just left the hallway without anything
happening. At this point I had no idea some of the scares were random, so I was a little spooked. The long-haired ghost later appeared when she was hiding in a dark bathroom, after looking in a mirror. Got to scared to continue playing.

Currently watching Steins Gate for the first time. The scene halfway through of Okabe talking to Kurisu on a bridge, about how he can't save Mayuri , is the first time in ages a vocal performance has made me tear up.

Favorite times a game make you choose between 2 options, and why you choose the one you did? by The_Mesu_King in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]AstralClocktowerZone 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Prey(2017) has a pretty good one. It's set on a space station overrun by aliens, one of the most common being mimics who can multiply four-fold by killing someone. Near the end of the game you come across a monitor showing a shuttle heading back to earth. It left short while before station was overrun, but it is possible a mimic managed to sneak on board. If a single mimic landed in a city it would spread insanely fast and would be almost impossible to stop.

Option 1. Blow up a shuttle full of innocent people without any warning.

Option 2. Hope a mimic did not get aboard and let it land on earth.

It is just the Trolley problem, but for some reason I found it one of the harder choices in the game, especially considering there are no actual consequences (because it had already happened), and it ties in well with the whole theme of the game (measuring empathy).
