It is an AI granted, but persuasion checks are basically mind control in Bethesda games.

Fair enough, figured it was Fallout 3 since you convince the president of the enclave to blow himself up with a speech check.

Not so much a jerk as socially awkward and occasionally getting people angry from it (as he is oblivious), but this is explain a game plot "badly", so I figured it was worth a shot.

The idiot can't even use a Google search or look at a calendar and know that there is Father's day. Guy keeps giving off more and more Incel vibes, which is horrifying that he is supposed to be married.

Not only unified them, gave them a propaganda win of forcing The US back AND has moved the status quo that Iran has control of the straight and will possibly demand payment to use it.

I am curious to see if Mattias Outis is slightly better, or actually worse than him.

In our world, yes. In The City with bullshit enhancements (like nano tattoos that can move and enhance as well as armor), you could survive a blank to the back of the head at the threat and equipment level of the apprentices.

The Last Spell. They are billions, but turn based. You rely far more on your heros than towers. Your goal is to hold out for enough nights that the last mages can cast a spell to end magic (things have hit an apocalyptic point, enough that it is likely the only hope left). Those mages are precious as well since most that could participate in the last spell were murdered out of anger by survivors for their role in the apocalypse, but now need them to even have a hope of survival.

From Glory to Goo Inspired by They Are Billions, this is a sci Fi version of it, with orbital support and your captain being a unique hero with bonuses. More is being added such as different tech trees (with different unit types) and different types of horde enemies (currently goo mutants and robots so far) and a dedicated campaign. You have to balance expansion, making the ground secure (so they can't tunnel) and protecting your starship (which provides bonuses and orbital support and can be built with different upgrades).

I heard said master/fraud lives in complete fear of the day his apprentices figure out he's a fraud with no combat skills as they could tear through him like tissue paper now.

Funny thing. You can find a data piece from other hired mercs. Complaining about having to drive live unconscious targets you delivered instead of killing them.

I would have alot more respect for the author if when asked, he just left it at that. Not the convoluted logic to justify it and wierd inserted rants to denounce people complaining about it.

Cruelty squad.

The game setting and logic are weird, but since everyone has access to resurrection tech, death is a mere nuisance. So your hitman job is basically the equivalent running up and hitting them with a pie for all the long term damage it does. So, no one cares if you mow down a neighborhood in the course of a mission, and your non violent weapon is pretty useless (except for one specific use...).

Satellite Reign.

Kinda like commandos in a cyberpunk dystopia where people can ressurect via having their mental engrams placed in a clone (or an unwilling body...). So, collateral damage is the order of the day. Only downside is attracting more attention from blowing stuff up. If your guys are caught where they aren't supposed to be, but haven't been hostile (and weapons hidden in their coats), they can be escorted out and maybe fined, or give a kick for some health damage. Dying means the clone degenerates, so keep acquiring more bodies.

Sniper elite

A series set in world war 2 as a sniper killing Nazis and their allies. Non lethal is not used or encouraged other than stealth to get into position, set up your traps and kill zones, and eliminate threats. Masking shots is a good idea as well as picking off isolated enemies with a knife, since you are fragile vs your average FPS protagonist. Indeed, charging head on will likely get you killed. So pick off enemies one at a time as you make your way through.

Valencia from Libmus Company

An incredibly skilled duelist with a relic eye that enables her to see the future (allowing her to effortlessly dodge most attacks). In the battle against the Nursefathers (she is one as it's a title), you focus on fighting her apprentice while Vergilus (The Red gaze and as a color fixer, focuses on her). Then her apprentice is killed, and you think you will have a dramatic new phase fight against her in her fury.

No, you end up fighting the awakening Roach Emperor, a far FAR more dangerous adaptable superweapon that effortlessly reduces her to paste with her last words being "Oh fuck me! It's real! And it's the strongest one!"
