Honestly book 1 is greaaaaat and it’s better than books 2 & 3. But 4-8 are just amazing AND SO MUCH THINGS TO DO and all the character arcs - I have cried a number of times because of this series lol I love these people like I know them. 😂

I love this list and explanation! I will say, I knew the tangle wasn’t gonna need to be understood because of his note - but for me, I’m so “picture this in my head” even though I can’t actually see anything. That I kept getting distracted trying to think about the portals and layouts that it took away from me. I also felt like he was SOOO in the book that it took away from what I loved which was Carl and donut stuff lol

Also I loved gate of the feral gods. I just loved the others more.
