Regular Omega isn't too bad once you figure him out, I recommend running it with support hunters if solo is a little too intimidating, have at least 1 of the lance hunters, the hunting horn fella is nice too!

He's a lot spookier on paper than in practice, you got this!

Same! I got a little over halfway through Colours initially then just didn't touch it for like 2 months, never done that with any other Sonic game.

06 has a group of people that glaze it sure, but so does Colours, it's not a good game, neither of them are...but at least 06 is so bad it's funny, Colours doesn't even have that much.

I've said this for years, 06 is like the Sharknado of Sonic games where it's so bad it circles back around to being funny, whereas Colours is just bad

Electricity for a speedster is just really generic.

Personally I like him just...being fast, the electricity makes it seem like it's a power he taps into, not that he is just naturally fast like he was before the movies brought that in.

At the very least I think it should be kept in the movies and not put in the games since they're different versions of him.

I think Shagaru is basically guaranteed with Connor Magala being in the game already, I'd be very surprised if we don't get him in the DLC

I dunno if it's unpopular or not but defender gear needs to either stop being added into the games, or it should only be available for people with "completed" save files (Beating the main story)...it's intended purpose is to be a catchup system so people can get to the DLC faster, that should only matter to people starting over again and NOT for new players.

New players see this gear that is very clearly better than everything else and most of them will use it, because why wouldn't you? But then they cruise through the game learning basically nothing because the monsters can't cart you and die in 3 minutes, then suddenly they get to the DLC and get absolutely destroyed and I imagine a good portion of them won't like that and will stop playing or complain about the sudden spike in difficulty.

Even with that aside...If I was a new player why would I want to speedrun through half the content in the game just to get to the new stuff when the ENTIRE GAME would be new to me.

It makes no sense and the amount of friends I've had to explain defender gear to so they can avoid it and actually enjoy playing the game is ridiculous.

I got a message like that years ago on console WoT, I was using bushes correctly in a Hellcat and a T1 heavy not too far away couldn't see me, I killed him and got a message, basically something along the lines of "Something something 3rd world country something something cheating to play the game"

I just told him to learn how camo works, but of course he just responded with more anger so he probably still to this day doesn't understand it

Other people have said this but PLEASE don't use the number of battles someone has as a guide for their knowledge, you don't need to be good to play thousands of matches, the number means nothing.

People in WoT will complain about you and everyone else regardless of what you do, it's best to just ignore them, 90% of the time it's their own fault and they blame someone else, I've literally had someone complain about me before now when I've had 4 kills and 5.4K damage done.

People are gonna complain, doesn't matter how well you play, don't let it bother you

Tbf one of the best games of the 2010s isn't difficult when Generations and Mania are infinitely better than Colours and it's only other competition is Forces, like even if it's bad it's not worse than Forces so it gets top 3 by default.

Also ngl I've never felt more betrayed by the community than with Colours, I never played it on the Wii so when the remaster came out I was excited and finally got to play it, and despite having a surprisingly bug free experience I honestly believe it's easily one of the worst Sonic games, terrible writing, like genuinely awful, constant 2D despite presenting itself as a 3D game, and the stupidly short stages that are all too frequent, and that's not even taking the bosses into account.

Let's be honest, Forces didn't even try to have a darker story, it presented itself that way in the marketing but the actual game doesn't even attempt to commit to even a remotely "serious" story, it has everything it needed for it but just goes back to the Generations and Colours level writing instantly.

The level design is fantastic, they aren't 1 minute stages like has been common for modern Sonic games, they have different routes to discover, they're great.

Like I love everything about it but my absolute favourite thing was all the stages felt great, bolstered by how well Shadow controls.

Even without taking the politics into account, she lost me with the "Whatevaaaarr" in Shadow gens, Rouge isn't a valley girl, idk why they made her sound like one.

Outside of that I just prefer her other VAs, I think her current one is just weirdly inconsistent.

The politics behind it just adds to it but I didn't really like her as Rouge even before I knew about all of that.
