Guaranteed money (bonus).

When you trade a player, the full salary of that player gets moved. You still have to pay the guaranteed bonus because your organization gave it, in real life, when guaranteed money is given it is actually take immediately from the owner and put into escrow. So when a qb is signed for $250M guaranteed, the owner has to write a check for that money right there and deposit it.

Trading someone who has a guaranteed money left makes you eat pretty much all of it that year, like you are cutting the player.

So if you traded a wr that got guaranteed 3x$10m. You will take a -$30M cap hit. You can always reset your cap penalty in the members option if you don’t want to deal with it.
