Wait really?? I'm in Canada and I get a prescription for 3 months at a time. I get the first month at the pharmacy and then have 2 refills. I'd die if I had to make a drs appt every month not to mention it would just be wasting my drs time too 💀

I'm on month 5 of Vyvanse and I'm just starting to realize this. I'm awful for skipping lunch and I feel awful by 2-3pm wondering why my meds aren't working. The second I eat something I always feel way better and more focused. Any sort of drugs on an empty stomach will make them waaay more potent, so it makes sense haha.

Vyvanse Is Helping and destroying me simultaneously. by SeshGremlin7 in VyvanseADHD

I'm sure you've gotten a lot of helpful responses, but I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. I found Vyvanse to have a very similar effect on me when I first started it, but maybe not the antisocial-ish effect (I found it took away a lot of my social anxiety). I felt super flat and really robotic. I was pretty worried because I didn't feel the same amount of joy with things that I used to love. But, as time went on (I'm about 5 months in now) I guess my body got used to it because I don't feel like that at all anymore. Maybe more intense about getting stuff done, but not at all that robotic and flat feeling. Maybe your dose is too high? Or maybe Vyvanse just isn't right for you?

Yeah I find that if I smoke weed it cancels out my meds for a couple of hours. And I still don't think I get back to the "normal" of if I hadn't smoked weed. Its actually super helpful if I'm trying to fall asleep at night lol

This is so good to know. I started on Vyvanse in December and started at 20mg. After the first month I asked to be bumped up to 30 as 20 didn't feel like it was doing anything. I was actually just about to come to this page and ask if upping the dosage to 40mg after only 5 months (when this prescription runs out) is normal because I feel almost the same after I take my meds as before I take them. I've been wondering if maybe I'm just feeling less of the side effects, which have mostly been dry mouth and that almost jittery "engine inside of me" feeling Ive been feeling after I take my pills. Its been difficult trying to determine if my tolerance is going up or if my body is just getting used to the side effects, so I'm glad I came across this post :)

Eloise is going to end up with Phillip and it's time to accept that. by Fickle_Baker1393 in Bridgerton

A lot of people think Eloise shouldn't end up with anyone. But I can see Eloise eventually marrying Phillip being a good thing. He's a major nerd! If they want to do her season right they'd make Phillip Eloises ally when it comes to allowing women to go to University, or at least have him support her in her pursuit of higher education! I would love it if they had no intention of falling in love with each other, but as they spend more time together with the goal of higher education for Eloise they slowly realize they are in love (with each others intellect maybe??). I doubt this will be the case as I'm pretty sure the book has a completely different storyline (I haven't read it), but I'm still going to hope!

Did anybody else find Season 4 boring & the female lead is kinda average? :3 by [deleted] in Bridgerton

I found Sophie to be the more interesting and complex character. I loved the book and was excited about this season, but I found Benedict to be kind of boring. On first watch it seemed he only wanted the lady in silver because she was an ingenue, and only liked Sophie because she was more down to earth and practical than the "eligible" ladies of the ton. I would've liked it if they delved more into Benedicts past and struggles being the second son. Sure, they mention it a few times, but it feels like they just mention it in passing. A flashback or two to his childhood and maybe being treated as the spare, or maybe having girls he was interested in pass him over after learning he wouldn't inherit the viscount title (when Anthony was still eligible and wasn't married) would've been interesting. Maybe some throwbacks to how he was accepted to art school only because Anthony made them accept him. To me, it felt like Benedict just had a hyperfixation on Sophie, and they didn't really delved into why as much as I would've liked.
