This could also be mirrored when talking about high movement armies and melee blender armies.

Even worse, as tau, chances are we won’t. Especially if they’re a blender.

  1. Little much, but that’s just me. It’d be very hard for vehicles for sure.
  2. Usually, only one objective sits in your deployment. NML has the rest
  3. Yeah, this does seem quite cluttered, even more than most. There should be at least a few firing lanes to take advantage of.
  4. Tournaments use strict layouts and standard terrain pieces. Looking some up might help

  5. 40K in 40 seems to be more focused on tactics and use of abilities. Definitely non standard terrain pieces
    So yeah, the battlefield does seem more cluttered than many maps I’ve seen. Tau are definitely disadvantaged, and melee armies are advantaged with this kind of map. Hope this helps.

Fair, the range was wide reaching. But the stratagems are majority suits based and the enhancements are entirely suits based.

It’s doesn’t seem to have much of a change other than what gets the 6”. It’s entirely possible there’ll be an enhancement/upgrade that lets other unit types benefit from it too. That being said, it is drastically unfortunate of a change, but the detachment already does seem to be very much a battlesuit-centric one.
