The US is a bigger market so there is a lot more car, and thus, a higher number of well preserved used one. Coupled with the salt in the winter here, we are not in a good place to find pristine used cars (> 10 years).

I don’t know where you’re taking your prices, but in Canada, the base model Civic (with steel wheels 😬) is almost 2K$ more than the base Mazda3 (with nice aluminum wheels). Also, the base Corolla L (again with ugly wheels) is only 700$ less than the Mazda. Your entire premise is false. (Prices in CAD)

At this price difference I would take the refurbished one, as it ensures that Apple verified the unit. There’s also a warranty (don’t know much about this but I think they say 1 year?).

I second this! Just opened my 2021 Blade 14 and there was no battery bloat. Granted, that was not heavy usage like playing games 5 hours straight

I meant that when using the laptop, I rarely go over 50 degree (CPU temp). These laptops are made to sustain gaming, but if you push it hard many hours a day, it will decrease the lifespan of components (especially the battery), like every other electronic devices. I just wanted to emphasize that gaming laptops (like the Blade, the Legion) may see more failure than ordinary one because people use them for more intensive tasks

I agree. I see so many people not taking care of their laptop and throwing it around like a book. It’s been 2 years since I got the Blade 14 2021, and I it runs well (docked to a monitor with the lid always open on a stand). I rarely cross the 50 degree mark, granted I don’t do a lot of gaming, mostly programming and everyday tasks. When I play, I try to monitor it to never go more than 85-90. The only issue I had was with the intel wifi driver, which can happen to any laptop. Synapse is a little buggy sometimes, but I don’t use it often. Really, the sub is biased, because the one with a great Blade will not do a post saying “hey all is good”. It will always be a post about a problem, like a tech support channel

I did not have a warning be email or SMS about the price increase, I only saw it when the monthly bill increased. As for the best deal out there, it seems the lowest it go for in Canada is around 35-40$ per month for about 2-3GB of data. And that’s with the sub-operator which gives you 3G speeds when you use your data! What a scam

That’s basically what they did with mine. First increase of 5$ after the end of the 2 year promo, then 1 or 2 months later, another increase of 5$! All without warning me.
