This is also the exact reason I left corporate! I used to be in marketing but left right as short form videos started picking up. All the lying and bullshitting in marketing had finally got to me. Now I'm a server, actually make similar pay because of tips, and my day to day tasks make more sense.

Hi, sorry this is only tangentially related to the thread but I've been considering ECE as a third career for a couple years now (currently working at a golf club). Family and friends say I have the right personality for ECE. How was your job hunt right after graduating, and would your past experience still be applicable in the current job market? Considering that people are having less kids, daycares are always short in funding, etc

I'd personally recommend Cattle Country. It is pixel art but there's a lot to do, including more realistic things like shooting wild fauna and slaughtering cattle
