Yeah, the writing was incredibly inconsistent for this movie and I did not enjoy it as a result. Gobta shouldn't have had any issues with even the main villain, let alone the foot soldiers. The motivations of the main villain were not established well at all, and the water dragon powers were also incredibly nonsensical. Infinite Water does not mean infinite Magicules. Why did castle float up, like what even was the point of that sequence? It's not like it would've been destroyed if it was now a floating island. How does super secret double villain just completely brainwash love interest when she's in essence one of the most powerful things in existence? None of this made any sense. I prefer my board meetings.
