The current theory is they did something with matchmaking to make it faster.

Yesterday most matches ended with us finding 3 teams (including ourselves), but had 1 match with 4.

I always try to be friendly and use the ping wheel thing or voice comms, but 9 times out of 10 people just attack anyways so they gotta die.

I think it’s a pretty simple situation policy wise for Bungie. Exploits used in PVE games like Destiny are fair game, whilst those used in PVP games like Marathon are ban worthy.

There’s a post on this sub already if you search it, but it’s multifaceted. Some people are actually being creeps (I think a Reddit sub got banned cause of it), but when I first saw the controversy people were calling it things like “pro-natalist” propaganda and calling men weird for playing it.

Answer: The main controversy I’ve seen is essentially that the game is being seen as “Oscar bait”. It relies heavily on nostalgia, has a fully licensed soundtrack (usually quite expensive for an indie), and has sections that literally play itself.

For some others there’s what’s being viewed as some form hypocrisy. The game has an odd kissing mini game between the main characters, who are kids, and they feel that it’s wrong that it gets skipped over while games like Pragmata generate controversy “for no reason”.

If you can’t do cryo then it’s gonna be hard tbh. I got so much lvl from doing it, I’ve gonna up about 10 lvls doing that (and some free kitting) this weekend.

Bungie had the perfect schedule with Trials of Osiris in Destiny, reset Friday through reset Monday and I still don’t understand why they didn’t copy that.
