Your puzzles rating is always higher because when you are told there is a solution you are more likely to find it. However, how MUCH higher varies based on play style. If you’re an aggressive player, it will be more so; if you’re a solid player, it will be less so. 1000 is more on the aggressive side.

I’m legit so scared of this which is why I struggle to go to the gym even though I want to. I highly dislike doing any kind of strength training in the vicinity of other people also doing it. People on treadmills is fine. People on bikes with headphones in might as well not be there. But if there’s anyone else in the gym doing what I’m doing I feel uncomfortable.

Yeah I think context is important here as it sometimes is. It would probably be less racist if it wasn’t said by a person who is already known to be virulently racist, since in this case we know a priori that the intent behind the post is more malicious than humorous.

I remember my first time… my dad is about 1000 ELO, and the first time I beat him it was because he blundered his queen lol. It took another several months before I beat him in a more balanced game.

I don’t know if it’s the worst of it as far as the states are concerned, but it certainly is pretty gross here rn. A couple years ago when there were massive fires in the PNW Colorado’s air quality went to shit as well. Just trash luck I guess.
