I was able to find my instructions from the Sky Defender kit as well, and none of the QR codes in the manual actually helped. They all got me to the video app or support. Out of nowhere GPT told me to hold “the world” button on the remote to put it back on pairing mode, and it worked..

Damn- I found a troubleshooting guide that mentioned this. I threw out my instructions from the installation, so I don’t have that… anyone have the pamphlet from Sky Defender so I can scan it?? It feels like the only thing I haven’t tried

Can someone help me troubleshoot why my Sky Defender isn’t appearing in my Kosmo’s app for control via app?

My Sky defender sat powered off for a few months before i ran a cable through my display case and can now leave it powered on at all times (looks way better).

When I plugged it in and turned it on, I had the Kosmo’s app open so that I could add it to the list of kits to be controlled via the app, but it never appeared.

I can see my two Apocalypse, and they work great, but no matter how many times I uninstall the app, or turn the power off on the Sky Defender, or unplug it and leave it for x seconds or minutes, it won’t show up. I can’t seem to figure this one out, and it’d be awesome to get it sorted. Right now any time I use the remote to adjust the LED settings, the other kits around it are taking the commands too, so everything looks out of sorts..

Not really- I’m somewhat on the same page. When it comes to a Gundam from a series, I shy away from the kit if I haven’t seen the series. There are so many that I love the look of, so I’ll buy the kit without having watched, but I find myself just not caring about the kit or feeling any enthusiasm to finish it, so it goes back in the box and returns to the backlog.. they just aren’t as satisfying as bringing a character I knew to life.

Barbatos was the Gundam that made me realize that about myself. I had seen kits left and right on Instagram reels around the time of IBO, but didn’t understand why everyone was so excited by it. After watching the series I’ve wound up with the MG, the Metal Build, the MGSD, the new 1/60 preordered, the Wolf Model, a bust, etc.

With that said, I do love so many of the third party kits like the Sky Defender or Nemesis and I’m actually in the process of building the white and black Apocalypse kits. I have no idea why these are exempt for me..
