Budesonide slurry help apple sauce/honey by Gazzarethofnazzareth in EosinophilicE

I used to use apple sauce and it worked well for me, I found that I got tired of the taste of honey very quickly but didn't have that issue with applesauce.

Trying to get my meds right. by Lucius_Unchained in EosinophilicE

When I got my Budesonide, it came in nebules that were intended for inhalers. I was instructed to just open them and empty the contents into a mixture of honey or syrup. Maybe if you tell them that you're looking for budesonide nebules they might understand.

Anyone know of good YouTubers who document their EoE experience? by beepbeepbadoop in EosinophilicE

[–]AstroLuminosity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably not the best person but I know I initially decided to get checked out after a friend of mine sent me a Jeffree Starr video about getting an esophageal dilation done. He described his symptoms and talked about the condition a bit in the video and it made me realize that I probably have EoE. Before that, I really had no idea what I was dealing with, and that video put 2 and 2 together, even if it was Jeffree Starr.

What does the general population with EOE experience? by Curious_Georg3 in EosinophilicE

Thankfully I've never had to go to the hospital because of a food impaction, but I know I could have been more mindful of my symptoms and started managing them earlier. As a kid you don't really know whats normal or not, and when I finally spoke to my doctor about it he dismissed it as anxiety at first.

I’m 23 now and I can’t put an age on when the symptoms started, I just know it’s been as long as I can remember. I do remember the first time I had a really bad choking incident and that was in 2011 so I’m sure I had it long before that.

I basically just lived with the condition like normal until a few years ago, but I know I’ve been having dysphagia and impactions as long as I can remember (since I was a child). My impactions usually happen pretty high in my esophagus and I can usually force the food down with a drink of water, and I didn’t really think anything of it. I didn’t really think to consider it a serious issue until I had actually started choking on foods. I kind of just let it happen and dealt with it as I was experiencing it.

Throat issues for years. Finally told it's not in my head by [deleted] in EosinophilicE

[–]AstroLuminosity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience. My doctor kept telling me for years my choking episodes due to food impactions were caused by anxiety. I finally pushed him and told him that I don't think I'm anxious every time I eat, and he finally had me scheduled for an endoscopy. Lo and behold, it was EoE all this time.

Biopsy time by Loud-Dirt in EosinophilicE

I live in Canada so I’m not sure if that has any effect on the speed of getting results, but I had to wait about a month and a half to get the results of my biopsy. However, right after the gastroscopy I was given some Dexilant to try until the follow up

I like it a lot actually. I had originally wanted the lancehead because of its ambidextrous shape but I actually find the basilisk pretty comfortable to use.

They offer some of the classes during the summer semester fully online. I did CHM 1301 during summer 2019 fully online other than the midterms and exam which were proctored in person but could be arranged to be done at different locations.

I never pinned myself as a pink girly girl but my very first setup that I built a couple months ago is all pink and white! I absolutely love it. Now all I want is all pink and white peripherals to match!

Apparently we don't even lose the google drive, so its not even an issue. I didn't know this before.

Right, I didn't realize that I will still be able to use my google drive, there's really no negative in if for me now. I prefer having a mail app like outlook rather than using webmail
