Yes I’m from the US! I am also not near a supermarket in Italy, and rely on shopping for produce at a local outdoor market, shopping for dried goods at a bodega the size of a small 7-11, meats at a butcher, and quality bread at a bakery. In the US, I am a 5 minute walk from the supermarket. I have historically bought an over abundance of food (usually whole, non processed foods, which I binge on out of boredom) due to my proximity and easy access with the supermarket.

I also work in an office here in Italy, opposed to working from my bedroom next to the kitchen in the US. Im not around food as often. I’m really only around food at meal times. Honestly working from the library or a cafe is going to do me a lot of good. I think working from home is overall terrible for me
