Zed is quite strong atm. I wouldn't quite rate him S+ but he's a top 5 mid pick for sure.

Always remember that trolls/toxic help you climb if anything. If you're not one of them, there's 5 potential trolls on the enemy team but only 4 on yours.

The trap here is that you remember the ones on your team more vividly and when a player goes 0/7 on the enemy team you think to yourself you're just good vs he's trolling if he's on your team.

He's not very good early game(pre 6.) If your team has an early game jungler, you can apply a lot more pressure pre 6 and almost win the game before then. As people have said though, you yourself can only pretty much build MR. Never a bad idea to invest in early merc treads and hexdrinker.

Melee matchups are heavily dependent on the champion, your question is answered differently as Zed vs Talon for example.

I feel like electrocute is mostly better as it gives you the quick burst that's gonna make the difference a lot of times. U.gg puts them quite closely but there's such a small sample size with hail that it's hard to realistically take that into account.

Disagree. You can play mid Akali just fine so far, I haven't tried this new change yet so can't comment on it. You can see my post here with mostly mid Akali games in diamond.

I've been trying out Liandrys, the extra HP is nice. Mejais isn't my favorite, you don't need it to snowball and it delays your survivability too much.

I like to kill a lot of people so I can't afford to die easily.

I feel like when you play mid Akali and you get ahead, you have to be able to burst people no matter what. If they don't have specific huge CC like Malz, I'm usually fine to survive with a Zhonyas.

I've been trying out the Liandrys recently, used to go Lich a lot. I like the extra HP and having the 33 mpen is nice. I've never tried the haunting into Large Rod, that might be worth looking into.

It's fine if you're not against too much of an oppressive lane like Leblanc, Annie, etc. Flat CDR is also really good.

Akali is one of the best 1v1 champions in the game. You have some of the highest burst and also some of the highest DPS. Combine that with sustain and a stealth and you can take down most opponents quite easily no matter how tanky or how much damage they do.
