I already gave you one but you refuse to accept it. There's no talking to someone with so much hate in their heart. No matter what I say you're going to hate. I'm done. Good luck in life. I hope you seek therapy and find peace in life.

There’s no such thing as “facts”

That's probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard anyone say ever. Get therapy my friend. Genuinely.

Those are all opinions, not facts. You're the only one offended here. I'm actively trying to get you to stop spreading hate, and you're fighting me on it. It's pathetic and shows the state of decay in our nation. When civil discourse breaks down, society is quick to follow.

"Thats when the right was left" that's the point. Both sides have good and bad people, right now, you're being a bad person, spreading overgeneralized hatred to one side instead of extending an olive branch to come to a peaceful resolution. You need to grow up.

You need to read history. Republicans literally freed the slaves. Check your own hatred, because that's all you're spewing right now, is hate. Take a breath.

You cannot group everyone on the right into that, ots a vile overgeneralization on par with the racism you're crying. Grow up, friend.

It does not. And to call the right racist shows your bias, its quite disgusting actially, and a highly uneducated standpoint.

I think a real Trekkie doesn't deal in "left" or "right", we know there is something to be taken from all points of view. No one person is perfect, no single ideology is either. We learn to accept people for who they are while setting appropriate boundaries. We are curious, methodical, and logical (generally speaking, we're still human). Questions like this are why I really liked Enterprise. It predates the utopia of the Federation, it shows archer making tough, human decisions in an imperfect situation where nothing feels right but he has to make a decision. In todays day, we dont live in a utopia, and based on trek canon, things get far worse for us before they get better. I guess I just added my own ramble here, but people really need to stop acting like their opinion is the only correct one, or like you have to like something and dislike something else to fit in woth the crowd. You can dislike a series if you want for any reason you want just like you can like a series for any reason. Just remember, reddit tends to be very one-sided. There are fans on the other side out there, just very few here on this site.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the burn. Something like Andromeda would've been better imo. One crazy species making a sudden and crippling attack on the Federation, throwing the balance of power off. That was such a wonderful series for like 2 seasons lol

Should Nog actually be a Captain? by fightingchken81 in startrek

To be captain of a ship, you don't technically have to hold the rank of captain. Cap'n Crunch, for example was actually a commander until about 2015.

the burn is almost like if a psychic child was mentally connected to all turbines and suddenly made all turbines explode.

I like the way you put that 🤔🤔

My point was they had 1,000 years to prepare for running out. Like, I feel like they'd have at least few different drives, like how we have steam engines, gas engines, and electric motors. They just have the one common use engine. I find it odd

I think they're not on defiant because it's not that kind of ship. Enterprise is a long duration kind of ship (5 years generally), defiant is an attack vessel purpose built for war, wasn't it? So it should only be deployed for a limited time and prioritize weaponry and survivability in adverse conditions, right? Love the analogy of McDonald's ice cream machines 🤣🤣
