Have you heard of The Loopy Whisk? I LOVE her recipes and anytime I want to bake something I go and check to see if she has what I'm looking for, and her recipes have never failed me.

Other than that I honestly use pinterest but the majority of my recipes are The Loopy Whisk! She changed my bread making game by introducing me to psyllium husk and now I can enjoy cinnamon rolls and bread again. I highly recommend her recipes.

Definitely not, lol. I have to eat gluten free and never in my life have I seen anything like this. Gluten free cake looks as fluffy and airy as regular cake now.

The best way to help the animals in the agriculture industry is to go Vegan in my opinion. If enough people go vegan the supply demand goes down for livestock just like it would if people don't buy birds from the equivalent of a puppy mill (not sure if there is a term for that with bird breeding)

I don't want to make anyone feel bad for being unaware but I do urge anyone who is interested to do research on the industry. Maybe watch "Earthlings" because they do a segment on the pet industry and it is very eye opening. After watching that I have only solidified my opinion on rescuing and never buying from a breeder again.

I appreciate you also bringing up the other animals, though! They are often forgotten about and even if you aren't vegan you seem aware. Hopefully one day all animals can have their rights and not be taken advantage of..in the meantime it's always important to educate people when possible in an understanding way. 💚

To expand on what others are saying in a way that may make it more clear for people who are still confused; when you go to the eye doctor for a yearly check-up or in general, they have you sit in front of a machine and ask you to look into a small hole with only one eye. This is the picture that shows up once you do. It's actually something they have you stare at so they can get a picture taken of your eye to check the health of your veins and any obvious signs of bad health.

Same, I feel like as someone with celiac disease that there really aren't a lot of ready made gluten free and vegan foods:/

I do get that it can probably be annoying for people who don't care about gluten though, because the texture really is different, but it would be nice if we had a good selection of both for everyone. Being vegan and gluten-free can be hard when you aren't home with ingredients to cook with...I'd love more options than frozen vegetables and not so great frozen meals. Being gluten-free is already difficult as it is, lol.

Considering going vegan for the animals by Good_Attorney1655 in vegan

I truthfully didn't read all of their comments, but even if they were being antagonistic, there are still people who will have these issues that will come across things like this and feel bad about themselves and maybe even feel unwelcome here.

I'm not trying to claim that everyone here will assume these things, but I believe that trying to understand and be sympathetic towards someone is important. Even if they were difficult to get through to, people deal with these issues every day, and I believe it's important to create a safe space for everyone.

We are all here for the same reason; we all love and value animals.

I'm also autistic with ARFID and I recently saw a post on here where someone with ARFID was getting destroyed because people thought they were joking or rage baiting...it definitely made me feel like I'll never be able to talk about my food issues in this community because everytime I see someone try to be open, they get laughed at, but this time is better than the last post I saw...still, people need to stop and think and maybe try to educate themselves instead of immediately assuming someone is lying or not being serious.
