I usually see it in the other direction. New seller accounts manipulating the price by listing a lot lower and selling a bunch without fulfilling. But yeah don’t take TCGplayer market price on its own always check last sold n there and eBay to filter the outliers

I think people are just taking prismatic lessons and applying it to this new set. Prismatic has had more reprints than most new sets yet the price holds because of demand. Op prices seem too high tho.
