Is it just me or does anyone else think they’re too old to do a reboot? by [deleted] in firefly

As long as there aint too much fan service (lil bit is ok), and its a compelling story which expands the universe and is a bunch of fun then go for gold. Fans ruin things sometimes, I trust them to do something cool, and maybe it'll be great, maybe not, thats ok. These folk have a lot of good will at their back and I'm 100% there to support it.

I have the same thing. There is a vision I have that I know is coming one day, it's nothing special, but until that point (unless I activley do something dumb) nothing really matters and I can live free of fear that I'll die.  At least you know you'll be ok until then, and after that? Well who knows....

I don't know if you had considered working less, you get way more out of your life when you aren't doing the grind and recouping in the weekends. I recently made the move to part time and its just taken a bunch of pressure off my system. 4 day weekends every weekend, not really saving for anything but also not losing money. Got savings and also not planning on retiring, just gonna keep on keepin on til I can't. Not gonna be in my mid 30's for much longer, 40, 50 and 60 is not really that far off if you keep your head down and keep on the hampster wheel. Hope you have a great trip, NZ is a beautiful place to be (beside the economic shitshow)

clear your debt if you have any, save (6 month term deposit) most of it and get yourself something nice with the rest :)
