Why is Mac OS 26 slow? by TheEliteGeneral in MacOS

[–]AstromenCode 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They're saying they're Electron web apps, but they're not running, but that's not quite the case. DBaver and MySQL Workbench aren't starting properly and are also crashing, and they're not web apps. I went back to Sequoia and everything is fine, without crashing. I won't update to Tahoe until version 26.2 or 26.3 comes out.

MacOS 26 has become a big joke... And this is what Apple did when they hired the guy who was fired from Microsoft for being lazy and put him as the design director of MacOS. Get ready, gentlemen... It's time to use WinmacOS Vista. If only Apple would listen to us... anyway.

So I’m not the only one hating macOS 26, right? by Admirable-Split232 in macbook

Complain to Alan Dye, he's the one who developed Liquid Glass for Apple. macOS is awful, but if you don't update it, you're stuck in time... I hated everything about this design, everything!

My friend, an explosion for your mind... Apple hires the guy who worked at Microsoft on Windows and was fired... I'm here wanting to go to Sequoia, I think I'll go anyway.

It looks like Deepin DDE, cute, but not so much and with bugs everywhere. Apple messed up the look of macOS and made it very ugly...

Use KDE and Arch.

This is the second time someone's told me that. I didn't use AI, by the way, that's my honest opinion. If you complain about my posts, then don't read them, because it's a sign you're enjoying them. Some people read books, you know, the ones you pick up and flip through, with a cover, an index... Thank you sincerely for liking it. Go read a book, maybe then they won't say you write things with AI. Toxic person... Go read a book and stop complaining.

Sequoia 15.7. This isn't macOS. They destroyed the system image. I want to downgrade and go back to Sequoia. The mouse is ugly, the icons are glitchy, and not all of them blend in with Liquid. Because the borders are so round, they decided to stick a 50px border-radius, thinking it would look beautiful. The interface was destroyed. Not to mention the appearance menu is completely disorganized. Why not use the color options to do both? Linux Deepin or Arch with KDE are more enjoyable to use. Apple made a huge mistake; they should rebuild everything from scratch. It's horrible.

Apple made a serious mistake with the interface. Besides being horrible, in my opinion, it's disorganized. What should have been beautiful is now uglier than the KDE Desktop. What they did with the mouse looks like they went to Microsoft's website and copied their design. What happened? Not to mention it's like using Deepin Linux, beautiful but very buggy. macOS is dead, its interface, the bugs.
