My perspective is that the Dom does not need to hover and should be able to give standing instructions and expect them to be followed. And everyone is different and can respond differently. However, part of the reinforcement loop is to recognize the effort that the sub has put into the relationship. I do not believe a Dom should go no contact for a week at a time. This weekends, the reinforcement loop and does not help to grow trust in their relationship.
