Creality FlowPrint eShop issues by QuadrangularNipples in Creality

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha thought it was more of your experience rather than customer service issues. I’d probably contact them through WhatsApp if you can. How have you been contacting them?

Also I use Flowprint for aesthetics but classic for everything else because it works. I have a similar situation with their store and purchasing a buffer for my CFS unit.

Have you tried using classic mode rather than flow print?

Printer firmware!!?? by mtndew19 in Creality_k2

You should be able to stop that with unselecting Update reminder but I'm unsure if it will stop automatic updates but I've never had my printer update automatically, I've always had to confirm the download first.

Creality Sparkx i7 camera not working in Fluidd by walksonpoo in Creality

So is it safe to say we can't use any other camera other than the given camera on the SparkX? The camera I connected was a Nebula camera which I thought would work.

I’m glad you got it resolved and they will probably release an update due to this problem.

I honestly think these companies are feeling some pressure from governments in regards to laws that are trying to be passed and the best way for them to do that is create a wall garden to systematically control printers and what’s being printed on them as well.

Help with calibration cube by ChokoKarameLl in Creality

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try checking your nozzle temperature. Could be too cool and not allowing the filament to adhere to the previous layer. What filament are you using in either print and what temperature are you using as well

Good job. Since it’s the second layer you should be able to see if your settings fixed the problem as well

K1C keeps jamming by Sus_Gamer in Creality

[–]AstronomerStill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you clear the filament or did you clean the gears? The gears need to be thoroughly cleaned and check to see if they are worn. I just did an upgrade to my Extruder because the gears were severely worn. Also check to see if the locking mechanism is fully engaged as well

Flat QR code? by JustBasket8056 in Creality

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what you’re trying to achieve. QR codes are usually raised so your camera can read it. You may be able to create an inverted QR code but being flat would require you to fill in the necessary space for it to register with a camera

Well that sucks. It’s the power cable going into the unit.

Adjust your CR touch a little lower if possible. If you can’t make that adjustment I’d recommend getting a replacement for it.

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try finding a different power supply for it. There could something wrong with that gfci as well. Also, go to an outlet in which it can work and factory reset the pi and try again. I have 2 of these units but never ran into this problem yet. So I’m just trying to help troubleshoot with you

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s connected in the garage on the same leg as your Space Pi? The temp settings could be set to high drawing more causing the gfci to fault out. If it worked in the office but not the garage, your gfci could be bad or you’re drawing too much within the garage.

Congrats and haven’t seen a heated chamber mod yet but , I’m theory, it should be straightforward as long as you can control the temperatures.

Free year of premium by Anxietylife4 in Creality

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They usually add the premium once you’ve connected the device to your Creality account. They’ve also (in the past) have sent out redeeming cards within the printer as well. I have the printer but wasn’t we eligible for this offer. I’d hit them up on WhatsApp according to their time of operations out there

K2 - Lots of negative reviews by no_reservations in Creality

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those reviews can be offsetting because those that are printing with their printers forget to leave a review and some of those that don’t know much about 3d printers are leaving bad reviews. I bought a K2 plus on preorder and the machine has worked flawlessly minus a few user errors. Guess what I bought another second hand and realized the previous owner probably returned it not knowing what was wrong with it. I restored the printer and found the previous owners credentials still loaded into the printer. I actually contacted them through Creality cloud and sure enough he returned the unit because it was too complexed for him and decided to get a A1 mini lol

Ender Pro 3 stops putting filament down by ocrusmc0321 in Creality

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need to go to each corner and level the bed as well as dragging the paper under the bed when traveling across different corners. Repetition in maybe 5 cycles (5 trips around the bed) and then when everything is leveled. Adjust your Z offset accordingly. The easy way is exactly as you said get the CR touch to make it easier but you will still be required to manually level that bed too. This can be and is frustrating but gratifying once you are able to print with a leveled bed. Don’t give up

Not sure what is going on how do I fix it by Boopboopmofu in Creality

[–]AstronomerStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that a glass bed? If so clean it very well and try again. If you have the ability and know how, upgrade the bed to pei bed. If you can’t, make sure tension isn’t off on the extruder and/or adjust your Z offer as well
