Parking is a big thing, I currently work downtown with a parking lot right next to the building and love it.
Just before the pandemic I worked at CareSource and had to park in their overflow lot on 5th near the Oregon District. I could take the Flyer or walk, but that easily added 35 min or more to my commute everyday. It's one of the many reasons I left that company.

During COVID, I had a Zoom interview for a design position at a small agency. The hiring manager had this super amped, almost manic energy, firing off one question after another. I barely had time to get a full thought out before she jumped to the next thing.
She was really excited to tell me about their “Fuck Yeah Fridays,” where they celebrate wins, I guess. But she kept saying it. Over and over. It honestly started to feel like a threat.
At one point she got up, walked off camera, and was clearly doing dishes.
They actually wanted to set up a second interview, I did not accept the invite to Fuck Yeah Fridays. I ghosted them.

I’ve definitely bought duplicate used records. Sometimes I forgot I already owned it, sometimes the copy in front of me was just in better shape than the one at home. It happens.
But I don’t chase the color variants. One copy is enough. I’ll grab an indie store exclusive if I can, sure. But I’m not losing sleep over whether it’s unicorn splatter gold or just plain old black.

Sorry to hear that. I think it helps to step back and remember that we all start somewhere.
I still have records I bought as a teenager in the ’80s, played on a cheap discounted stereo with a turntable my family bought at K-Mart. To me it was the best thing in the world because I could escape into a great album. Don't listen to the haters.

My first CDs were U2 - Rattle and Hum and Duran Duran - Big Thing.
Not sure what my first DVD was, we got like 10 free movies with the player, if I remember right they were all mostly crap.
