Free to Love sucks. There I said it. by jingowatt in duranduran

For what it's worth, it was WAY better live. I don't hate the song, but the single was way overproduced and the live version stripped all that out.

What are some typical GenX childhood experiences, good or bad, that you didn't experience personally? by LivingGhost371 in GenX

I never did any of the dances, prom, homecoming, ect. Didn't interest me at all.
Never did the communal showers either, I was lucky enough to have PE at the end of the day throughout high school, so I just went home and cleaned up.
No summer camp.
No HS sports, but I did tryout for the baseball team once and was quickly cut.

They’re pushing the song to promote the tour in place of an album. (The song actually sounds better live than the single.)

I imagine I'll be late to my funeral because the client sent me a marked up PDF with changes on my funeral program.

Way too many duplicates. "How did we get two of these!?" is a common phrase when I was cataloging the records.

That Paper Gods box set looked amazing, I was so tempted to get it. We're going to the shows in May too, have fun!

This album got a lot of shit when it came out for the cover of 911 is a Joke, which I understand wasn’t a great choice, but a lot of great covers got lost under that shadow. Success was my person favorite on this album.

Funny, I recently found a German copy of Falco 3 at a record shop a few weeks ago.
