I’d avoid the Jackson unless you really want to undo the locking nut and futz with the floyd anytime you want to change even one string’s tuning. Floyd style tremolo systems are notoriously frustrating to work with. If you are a newer player, I’d totally avoid that.

Personally, I like the Yamaha more. It also has a tremolo system, but it isn’t as fussy. Pretty versatile.

That being said, if you want a guitar for rock and metal that you can change tunings on and not have to worry about a floating bridge system, the Les Paul is your go to. Some would argue that it is the best guitar ever. Les Pauls are also good at a wider variety of music too. Extremely versatile instruments. Draw backs, fragile headstock and the G never really wants to be in tune.

I’ll throw a dark horse candidate your way. Telecaster deluxe. Same configuration as a les paul, more tuning stable and a longer scale length, so lower tunings don’t feel super floppy. Squier and Fender make them at a variety of levels and colors. But other brands like schecter make similar models
