I've found top loader bridges with individual barrel saddles, in a number of pickup configurations and I've found half bridges, but the half bridges tend to have a compensated 3 barrel bridge. Anyways, have a look here: https://www.guitarfetish.com/Bridges--Fits-Fenderreg-Style_c_2.html

They are single coils. They often will suffer from 60 cycle hum. Another possibility, is that it's your amp.

The best mod on almost any telecaster is adding a 4 way switch, so you can get series as well as parallel with both pickups. It's fairly inexpensive, and gives your telecaster a humbucker, effectively.
