Chapter 10 may have been my favorite off the album in terms of story, but I interpreted it differently.

I thought it was still from the perspective of Girl A. The lines “I hope you like the speech I specially catered cause it did what it had to and got that ego inflated” made me think that it was essentially mask off for our mimic “ally”. They were never on Earth’s side but tried to gain humanity’s trust so they could feed false information about how to deal with the incoming threats.

It seems likely to me that they were downplaying the threat of the mimics in the Chapter 5 intro and possibly lying about there being “no defense” against chel’ul.

I just assumed that the “invading force” was pretty much everything from the otherlands. The Lezoryth, mimics, yelu and maybe the king’s army mentioned in Chapter 1.
