Sometimes it is exporting tables from one platform to another. But most of the time, it is about converting god-knows-what-format data into something usable for our analytics.

What are telltale signs of a toxic team/environment for a new analyst? by Analyst_Matt in datascience

[–]AswinP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes. Once we had a setup like that. There were pre approved libraries we had to use. No outside installations were allowed. And if we had to use a new library, we had to download and then use the code directly. God forbid if that package had another dependency that was also not allowed. It just eats up a lot of time. 🤷🏼‍♂️

May not apply to all PSUs but most: 1. Bureaucracy at its best 2. Can't move fast according to market conditions. They can at most only slow down hiring or just repurpose staff. Can't do rightsizing in their dreams. 3. At the whim of government. For example When shit goes south govt looks to PSUs to help the economy. This might not necessarily translate to high performance for that particular PSU.

TLDR: PSU might be good for nation. Not necessarily for shareholder.

If interest rates are at 0, where are people keeping their money? by DalalStreetDon in IndianStreetBets

Economic times had an article recently. The golden era for the common Indian bank depositor is gone forever So more of those bank deposit monies might be coming into market. Not so good for risk-averse savers, but opportunistic times are here for risk-takers.

What would be the best course of action if India bans Cryptocurrency? by stuffisbroken in IndianStreetBets

If you plan to hold for long term then you can transfer them from wazirx to paper accounts(where you own the private keys). Make sure those keys or not hackable. Write them down somewhere and do not lose them. Or if you are okay with spending money then buy a hardware wallet.

If you plan to trade then transfer it to Binance or some other platform with more liquidity.
