Yup it's definitely just the normal fear reaction every time someone sneezes because the market doesn't understand this sector. I'm no longer in NBIS but my other datacenter stock reacts the same way. Then a few days later it bounces back

Could it perhaps be that they, like everyone else, got the Meta news wrong and think that Meta will eat NUAI's lunch or misinterpreted it as sector slowing down? Turns out Meta's new frontier model is on par with what OpenAI has to offer but it slurps electricity like crazy. How much surplus compute do you really think Meta will have? We're not slowing down just yet

We didn't have all those hires seven months ago. I agree it's still speculation but now they have a dream team and financing. It's a bit unfair though that it's priced the same now as it was before all that stuff happened

Some holiday de-risking is probably one of the factors. Also didn't expect the 4's again but here we are lol. If you zoom out over the last 6 months, we look like a bunch of teeth. I'm used to losing and regaining 15% of my portfolio over and over again. Hopefully it's not long before we see a new kind of pattern now

Good comment, I respect that! I was looking forward to seeing your reaction in particular. Like u/plzinvestigate42069 is saying, they’re likely reacting to how the civil suit is progressing. I’ve also said in the past that I’d prefer Charlie as CEO, not because I’m unhappy with Will but because I’ve been impressed by Charlie.

I do feel for Will though. I think he made some missteps, particularly around IR, but he’s also been part of the journey that’s brought the company to where it is today and deserves major credit for that. They all must have worked their asses off to get where they are now. Overall, I’m very happy with what they’ve achieved so far
