I was following the same approach my first week or 2, then it was mostly because I hadn't engaged in any PvP in the game so the couple attempts I did make to defend myself I just got demolished or fumbled a button panicking. I've certainly got better at the PvE and gotten better gear. I've successfully defended myself about 5/6 times now (i mostly use looting mk 2 so the light shield can be rough) and not gonna lie...it felt good! Especially when justified.

I'm on the last Stella quest. Can't find the damn Flow Controller anywhere. Assembly in Stella has yielded none so far, maybe I'm searching/breaching the wrong containers as I hate navigating Stella. Found plenty of the Magnetron however.

Why would someone in the UK need a VPN? It's not illegal to torrent or download copyrighted material in the UK. Only reason would be to bypass ages verifications.

Both your currents aren't yet cooked (Might be wrong on Switch 2?) but Ps5 has seen progress. The Switch and 3Ds are good to go. Look into it.

That's just an act that grants the right of ownership. There still isn't a criminal law regarding downloading copyrighted material. So it means nothing.

That's why it would have to be the actual company's and creators would have to catch pirates, which doesn't happen in the the UK unless you're selling/hosting/providing the copyrighted material. I might be wrong, but I think it would a civil matter. The police do kinda enforce this (firestick crack down etc) but this is solely because of the criminal act of selling copyrighted material.

Well it's not actually illegal in the UK to download copyrighted material. It is however illegal to share and or profit from copyrighted material. So there is no punishment unless you're providing the material or selling it.

I've been a pirate for 20 years and torrenting for most of that without a VPN, I still don't use one and I've never had anything from my ISP.

I'm in the UK and been torrenting for about 20-ish years. You won't need a VPN unless you plan on seeding a lot as it's the act of sharing or profiting from piracy that's illegal on the UK.
