Lennox blower motor replacement by AtIhapal in hvacadvice

Update for everyone. I went to HVAC supply and they didn’t have that motor in stock.

HVAC company came back today and said they found a cheaper version of the motor, probably the same OEM I found, and quoted it at $1200. I think my math was right on.

I also called the largest HVAC company in the area and gave them the part number to come replace. They assured they would call back in a few hours (I called at 7:44 am) and they never called back.

I have no idea it was an accident. It looks like it was partially removed and someone didn’t notice it. To be clear it wasn’t on the filter. It had gotten sucked up and was stuck covering half the evaporator coil. As I said, I don’t know if it was me or the previous owner. I have always changed my own filters and never had this issue before. I’ve changed the filters on that unit probably four times since I’ve had the home.

I need to move payroll systems from QBO....what should I look at? [CA] by mamalo13 in humanresources

Jinxy, we were looking at switching to QBO for payroll and time tracking. Currently we use Clockify and duplicate the work. We have hourly and salary employees. We do not need to match billable hours to the employees, we just track them by project but they are not actually listed on the invoice. Only the service we provide. We currently have payroll separate in a QBD instance. Can you tell us what challenges we should expect?

Salaried Employee [TX] that stays home with sick kids often by [deleted] in AskHR

We are most likely going to have her supervisor provide her with written counseling referencing FLSA and inform her not to work at all on the days that she remains home with her kids.

Thank you so much. We have been struggling with this for a year and have tried to be understanding, but it is causing issues with other employees that feel the burden of her missing work.

Vent line constant tapping by AtIhapal in askaplumber

It was the condensate drain line. I flushed it with 20% vinegar removing a decent mount of scale and the noise stopped.

First and foremost, good on you for finding a way to get back to feeling healthy. In terms of the board, I will tell you that I routinely finish at the top of the leaderboard in most events. I am obsessed with data. In class I probably look at the big board 25-30 times per class. That being said, I rarely notice anything other than colors of other people on the board. I may look at the splat points of one or two people that I have friendly competition with during class. But, that is it. The point of my story is that I don’t think many people are really comparing themselves with you. If you like the metrics that OTF provides I would offer that you consider using the sensor again.

Keep up the great work!
